Burger ideas

What would be your ultimate burger? What type of buns, mean, toppings and sauce do you like and recommend?

A Big Mac but without the middle bun. I don't know why it hasn't been done before.

ordinary bun, no sesame seeds
shredded lettuce
cheddar cheese
tartar sauce

>pretzel bun
>1 patty med well
>mustard
>tiny bit of mayo
>grilled onions
>grilled jalapeƱos
>bleu cheese
>bacon

This is how I like mine
>lettuce
> tomato
>Heinz 57
>French fried potatoes
>big kosher pickle
Usually with a cold draft beer

i usually grill bubba burgers 1/3 pound, i use grill mates steak shake , cook for 3 minutes 1 side, flip then 2-3 minutes depending on amount of coals, and for last minute i put a dab of jack daniels bbq sauce on top and put a thin slice of provalone or a kraft single and serve it on a potato bun, with lettuce tomato sometimes pickle

its pretty god tier and i get the whole "best ive ever had" always

>2 patties

>white bun

>swiss cheese
>russian dressing

Pretzel bun with coarse salt, toasted in butter
2 thinner patties medium cooked with garlic
3 thick slices of medium cheddar or dill havarti cheese (one top, one middle, one bottom of patties), all melted but not to bubbling stage
paper thin sliced pickles
small amount of whole mustard
garlic, chili, or pesto aioli
fresh or grilled jalapenos
one leaf of green romaine lettuce
long slices of sundried tomato
tiny amount of ketchup

>frozen burgers is the best they've ever had
They're either being polite or you're cooking for people with very low standards.

>pretzel bun
>two med well seasoned patties
>thick applewood or maple bacon
>a nice smokey BBQ sauce
>thick cheddar cheese
>fried onions

and a cold sodie pop.

>paper thin sliced pickles

My man. So many people treat pickles as a binary choice, yes or no. In my opinion the pickle spear, thick slice, or chips are foolhardy additions. Two paper thin long slices are where its at, or a thin spreading of sweet relish. Adds the tangy vinegar flavors you need to cut through the fat and grease without overpowering the whole sandwich with sour brine flavors.

>whole wheat bun toasted with garlic butter
>ground elk medium rare cooked with salt and cracked peppercorns
>sliced pork belly cooked to crisp but not burned
>sliced heirloom tomatoes
>grilled red onions
>iceberg lettuce

maybe some mayo

Pretzel bun, burger cooked medium, light mayo, sauteed onions, bacon, jalapenos, celery salt, and sharp cheddar cheese.

one burger patty, one bratwurst patty
pretzel bun is obvious

A really thick patty, maybe an angus burger style. About as thick as your picture.

Nice bun, but not a pretzel bun or anything silly. No sesame seeds either. Not too doughy.

Toppings? Cheddar cheese, bacon, red onions, hot peppers, jalapeno peppers, maybe a slice of tomato and lettuce. Not sure what sauce, a little mayo?

Open to suggestions. Maybe some grilled onions or pepperjack cheese.

Burger

ALL BEEF, SALT AND PEPPER

THAT'S IT FELLAS

Could be worse, he could use these.

for the longest time I thought burgers were extremely balanced, I mean why else would it be our countrys staple, right? The beautiful good old american burger, fed our soldiers and raised the best generation.

Now I just see a fatty ball of meat with edible grips. I opt for other cuts of meat, actually preferring pork more these days.
