Alright Veeky Forums, i need your thoughts. Basically, i don't think I can get any smarter. My genes don't seem to have a genius in them based on family... other than my cousin's who took algebra2 in 7th grade. However, if I can manage to get a son/daughter, i can start to challenge them with intellectually stimulating and creative problem solving activities at nearly birth, not even 6 months. They would consist of applying knowledge and using their memory to metathink and analyze what their mind was thinking while solving past/previous problems to solve a current one. I won't only be teaching them math/physics, but also psychology if I learn any. I want my child to make as many neuro connections as possible at their age.
So, how could this possibly fail? If I start training their brain young, surely they will become a genius.
What do you guys think? Is there anything i should know extra? Would doing this just be a mistake I would regret later on? Please let me know, i need my offspring to be geniuses at math and physics... I'm talking 190-250 IQ.

Unfortunately it would also be heavily reliant on the teacher too. Your ability to explain the world is significant because children heavily follow after their parents. There are examples of natural geniuses who figure things out themselves.
>Suggestion 1 Play classical music for them while they are in the womb. This has been shown to link the hemispheres between the brains and improve memory and brain function when they get older
>Suggestion 2 Surround them with colored letters and numbers as a baby. This is a common thing among those with color-letter synethesia, a harmless condition which tremendously enhances memory of letters
>Suggestion 3 Homeschooling is a must. The curriculum students currently go through is not only inefficient, it is just plain useless for training high class mathematicians.
Gabriel Anderson
You won't be reaching incredibly high IQ (170 we're talking about) without the right genetics, but 170 can even be considered overkill and begin to offer diminishing returns compared to things such as creativity, method of thought, and so on.
It's admittable that they would have to put in a lot of time as a child, but you must maintain and nurture their creativity and open mindedness towards the world.

Thanks for the feedback guys

>homeschooling What good is a genius intellect if you're child doesn't know how to interact with society?
Wyatt Howard
Er... Exactly how many geniuses who changed the world have been able to interact with society..?
Alexander Cox
If they weren't crazy, or socially inept, they were all so indifferent to human society that didn't even bother interacting outside of their work

Eh. Cavendish was a turbo autismo and Newton died a virgin so in the end ehhhh it all balances out
Jeremiah Brown
microdose them regularly from birth lol

I could easily imagine this backfiring. It would undoubtably have a huge impact on brain development, however I'm unsure if it'd lead to immense creativity and memory or schizophrenia

Marry an intelligent Ashkenazi or East Asian. Look at the academic accomplishments her ancestors. And don't forget to measure her cranial circumference.
Angel Jones
>cranial circumference Why not just ask the IQ at this point Also I don't think cranial circumference even means anything. It's all about having a huge forehead.
I mean ideally you want a genius wife. However they are much more rare than genius men due to IQ distribution.
William Watson
What is the best proxy to intelligence? Academic accomplishments, IQ, forehead?
Xavier James
get your wife to fuck a smart guy actually scrap that your wife's probably dumb as a doorstop just kidnap a smart baby of course you know he'd turn out smarter without you involved
Asher Miller
Make sure your wife is learning something new while pregnant. Epigenetics could play a major role.
Jace Nelson
If you are reasonably knowledgable in a field and the other person is someone else from that field, the best "socially acceptable test" I know of is to ask them some question. If they are able to answer it in depth and show understanding, it not only demonstrates broad deep knowledge for being able to answer a random question, but intelligence for being able to obtain that understanding.
The problem is that to a "pleb," a pretty good, genius, and super genius who makes Caltech graduates look like babbies is all the same Probably IQ, but I'd talk to them and see if they have a deep worldview, or if they're just overly intelligent "useless" nerds
desu OP if you just want to raise a genius, you could go to orphanages and find very young children who are very intelligent. However you'd have to look over a lot of children to find one with an IQ of 150

A good nutrition for the pregnant wife is also very important. And for the baby too (essential fat acids like DHA etc). A good environment, free of pollution, heavy metals and niggers is also fundamental for a healthy development of the nervous system.

Bump. Nice thread.

You don't sound that blunt to me. You should be glad if the child is as gifted as you are. Lol when under 6 months wtf to teach it other than say daddy. And give it love not fucking numbers and letters. I hate parents that making child prodigies. It's completely out of hand. Fucking shit Murica. First 6 months is love and connection. Ffs let the fucking living human being decide what to do when old enough ti know it's best ffs. It's fucked up over there. Waste.
Brandon Sanders
you must awaken in them the desire to learn more and to question / investigate everything. also you must tell them that some authoritative figures HATE it being questioned. so to research in silence and tell those, who hate being questioned, what they want to hear.
Charles Gomez
lmao, your kid will hate you and math with a passion.
Aiden Long
user, this is not how genetics work. Your child will have a reactional norm, meaning that no matter how much classical music you play him, how much algebra 2 you feed him, how good of a quality of life you provide, he will have a cieling of IQ that is impossible to surpass.
In short, you will have to get very lucky or go indian mode if you want to have a child who has even an IQ of 150+

And don't forget to stimulate the child in the first year of life with Calculus 1 and Intro to Proofs.

Newton was clearly homosexual. I mean, what other possible explanation could there be to a man living his whole life without meeting a girl?

My father is an international master in chess and he did this to me, I dropped out of high school first grade.
