Matter can neither be created nor destroyed

>matter can neither be created nor destroyed

>entropy

>matter, mass are not real, it's an illusion, only space and never ending photon runs

>E=mc^2

i cant believe they still teach this in schools

I'm a math major, don't do much physics outside mechanics.
Can you explain? I'm actually interested

>turn matter into energy.
>spend all the energy.
>ignore I am matter myself.
>contribute to heat death.
>annihilate own universe.
>mfw

>unified theory

>matter can neither be created nor destroyed
If by "matter", you mean mass, then that's a correct statement. Mass is literally energy, the two are interchangeable, and energy is always conserved in the universe.

>matter IS energy

matter is crystallized light

(((Laws of thermodynamics)))

Literally nothing more false

>For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

>Nothing can travel faster than light

ironic shit posting is still shit posting

>E=mc^2

>m=E/c^2

Riddle me this, how much of a brainlet are you to not understand these concepts?

>maxwell's equations

...

The SUM of the mass and energy in any closed system (one such system possibly being the entire universe) is a constant.

A tiny bit of mass vanished, maybe equal to the weight of a dime, and a corresponding amount of energy appeared.
Most of Hiroshima also vanished in the next couple of seconds.

what is the question?

>Matter exists

>The earth is an oblate spheroid

>were made of star stuff

>gauss's law

>math is real

for some reason this picture makes me feel sad

like, look at his mom, she's so happy to help his son, but will never realize how much of a loser he is

those some deep cuts brah...

>observation by a sentient being collapses wavefunctions

no, she knows and helps him anyways. that's what a good mother is.

Close enough

>there is an objective reality outside of your perception

Okay? So nothing has been destroyed or created, it has merely transitioned to another state. The axiom holds and you are engaging in pointless sophistry. All you did was restate the original statement in slightly different words.
