I have a plunger holder similar to pic related. It's been broken for months, missing a door and you have to jimmy the plunger underneath the other door to put it away. Anyway, today I was having a hard time getting it back in the holder so I said fuck it and just left the plunger on the floor. I walked about 3ft to the sink to wash my hands when the door violently flung open. I thought, cool, can put the plunger away now. But it also spooked the heck out of me. I've been scratching my head trying to work out how the hell this happened, I'm too fucking stupid to come up with any reasonable explanations. Any Veeky Forumsentists have a clue?
