Not sure what you're meaning by a sitting but I think the most I've had throughout a night was 28-30. It's interesting how important pacing, eating, mood, and other factors affect how long/much you can drink. I've blacked out or passed out from as little as 8-10 shots and was hungover, but I've also drank twice that some nights and wasn't even hungover. As long as you're drinking water, eating enough, sleeping enough, and having a few mixed drinks and beer instead of only straight liqour it's not too hard to dodge hangovers (at least when you're young).

I've been stopped by police before and breathalyzed over .35 on a few occasions. They usually just drive me home since I am pretty chill when I drink and don't act like a fool. I can drink a 24pk of light beer fairly easy, the only thing slowing me down on beer is the volume in my stomach. I drank an entire 750ml of rumple minze the other day along with a 6pk of beer in about a 6 hour period and felt pretty high on that, felt good the next day as well so lucked out on a hangover. This is usually the peak of my drinking these days, with the usualy drinking amount being a 375ml of bourbon with a 6pk.

Dehydration is the worst part of a hangover, you cant rehydrate quickly like you want to because you risk throwing it right back up but you need water to get right. Best reasonable advice is to force yourself to eat and get moving.

You can check your bar tab the next day to guess or if you did something like drink half a fifth or drank a 24 pack you can approximate how much you drank based on what you've got left. When I'm at bars I like to buy drinks for my friends and others too so I gotta factor that in when I'm guessing what I drank after a night out.

14 pints, 1 and a half bottles of buckfast and 10 or so rum and cokes, along with a gram of cocaine. This was consumed over 20 hours. Reckon that's about 60 odd units, surprised I did not die.

I was camping at a bachelor party with 10 other guys. We started drinking after breakfast at 9 am until probably 1 at night. I would drink 1 Miller high life & then funnel a bud. I drank 48 beers that day. My night end after I passed out & fell into the barn fire. The worst part was I ended up sweat nging at my buddy that pulled me out.

I'm told I eventually shared some of the tequila, took the rum and ran (stumbled) up onto the deck where I preceded to stand up in a hammock, fall through the hammock, fall onto a small wicker table (breaking it), then almost fall of the second story deck. After all that my friends got me really high so if just lay down and stop being annoying. Mind you, i was told all thisbecause i don't remember any of it.

My buddy and I went out to see the Force Awakens when it was released.

We're both far too emotionally invested in Star Wars, and as such, we exited the theater in dire need of drink. He's a bit older than me and definitely has his drinking down, but he'd stopped drinking as much, so he was taking it easy.

We got home around midnight, by 5am we had killed a 1.75L bottle of 90 proof whisky. Granted, he was nursing the same 16oz glass of whisky the whole night, maybe with a few top-offs, so the majority of that was me. I had work the next day, too.

There have been other nights where I've killed a handle, but that's the only one I can readily recall.
