Made a huge pot of chili a few days ago, kinda getting sick of eating it straight out of a bowl. Any creative ways of eating chili? Does it go with rice? I'm making chili dogs tomorrow.
Chili
You can eat it with tortilla chips
fucken frito pie, user
seconding. Frito pies are the only thing I thank my public education for. Thank you fat fucking texas highschool
>make nachos
>dip nachos in chili
There is no need for any other way.
Replace the beans with hominy corn
Just dump it on the floor and eat it like a dog.
Chili and rice is a classic poor person way to eat chili.
It doesn't make it taste better, it just stretches the meal
>putting beans in your chili
Chili goes great with rice or cornbread mixed into it. You can also serve it over sauted veggies, like bell pepper and onion. Another great way to use leftover chili is to use it as the base of a burrito and add cheese, fresh onion and tomato, and wrap it up in a tortilla.
post your chili recipe(s) user(s)
also, I usually eat it with some brown rice on the side, works nicely
gonna make a batch tomorrow, I usually use the following:
rkb
ground beef
tomatoes
...chilli's
various spices
what else should I put in there? this time I'm thinking of also adding some sausages and maybe bits of bacon for different meat flavors
does celery go well in?
what about corn? how much corn to rkb ratio is ok?
Meat, either ground, chopped by hand, or cubed and browned.
Two cans of diced tomatoes
2 cans of kidney beans
Shit ton of chopped garlic
1 big onion
Shit ton of chili powder
Bunch of cumin
Worcestershire sauce, a bit with the meat

>Dark Chocolate
But why?
Try it.
Not like a Hershey bar.
Like pure cocoa powder or 80%+ dark chocolate.
>does it go with rice
user, everything goes with rice.
Chocolate syrup
everything goes with chili as well.
I was so close to putting tuna in it last time.

>take hot bowl of chilli

>stuff it all down like the fat pig you are
How to make tuna chili?
>Stuff a portabello mushroom with anchovy and cheese
>Bake a few mins
>Put it on a bed of rice
>Smother with chili
rice
baked potato
in a tortilla
on toast
Essentially you can have it with any carb
Just change it up with various things like lettuce, tomato, other sauces, cheeses, sour creme etc..
It's very versatile since its essentially cooked mince with inoffensive flavouring
Chili on buttered toast is great.
Remember, you don't have to eat it all at once.
Freeze some for later and you'll have it next time you feel like chili.
I usually put it into ziploc bags, put 4 cups into a quart-size bag, lay it flat, squeeze out the air and seal it up.
toast
My mom made me an enormous pot of chili last week and I lost it. Shit's amazingly versatile. This guy's in the right, but you can go further. My mom got me into putting it on salads with some crunched up chips. I love frying up a ton of fries and then pouring the chili over them. I haven't had it in a while but stuffed peppers is never bad.
I save the quart and pint sized plastic containers Chinese restaurants serve soup in for chili
Mix with ketchup and put on a bun
