i don't think i could ever decide

Over medium

can you cook scrambled eggs without any form of dairy?

A perfect scramble is better than nearly anything.

Yes

how?

In spaghetti.

In the microwave.

very low heat and vegetable oil

you don't really need anything except salt but a tiny splash of water doesn't hurt. just put them over medium low heat and the amount of stirring you do will control the size of the curds

Poached - the spinning water way
Then with thick bacon, asparagus, fried tomatoes, mushrooms and hollandaise sauce

overall the patrician egg is either poached or soft boiled

(checked)
Eggs Benedict can't be beaten.

i hate english people

If i'm having them with instant noodles: soft boiled and marinated in soy sauce. The runny yolk richens the soup so much especially if it's tonkatsu flavoured

Someone post the Joe Rogan egg "sandwhich"

I love softboiled/deviled eggs but cook nearly all my eggs poached, just because peeling the shell after boiling is so miserable.

these guys know what's up

the other methods of cooking eggs are still fantastic though

Preferably with heat.

this one
runner up: scrambled
2nd rUP: over easy
3rd: hard boiled, no green pls.

:^)

...

I'm torn on Jamie Oliver. He does do a lot of good stuff for food and cooking, educating people and encouraging them to not eat trash, or cook rather than eat out. On the other hand he is a limey fuck who is annoying as hell.

joe rogan just gets high and cooks up some slop every times he posts this shit.

I just wanted to find a vid on poaching that wasnt in cling wrap.
I'd never seen it done in wrap before i looked up that vid.
I think he's pretty annoying too.

Soft boiled egg recipe?

eggs benedict

I like poached eggs because they allow me to kid myself that I'm eating healthily.

Omurice.

is there any way to pan fry an egg without using oil?

Subjective question but, my two favorite egg dishes are shirred eggs and French omelettes.

in order
>poached forced into a dinner roll
>scrambled
>over easy/medium
>tortilla
>omurice
>tea boiled
>hard boiled
>omelette on its own

Crack the shell under cold water, let it rest for a bit, then peel

I like to add a bit of water in the pan and turn off the burner once the yolk begins to turn white. Let it continue to cook depending on how you want your yolk and remove it from the pan.

I learned how to cook scrambled eggs from Gordon Ramsay on youtube. Its literally changed my life, it tastes so fucking good. I've been overcooking and seasoning way to early before.

I am planning to try his approach, but I've always enjoyed my scrambled eggs ultra-rubbery.

you have not lived properly my friend

Soon.

I’m just going to say it, Gordon’s eggs look fucking nasty.

tastes fucking good if you get it right though

how many eggs do you guys use for a scrambled?

...

Yeah, they look far too runny to me. I'm still going to try out his recipe, though.

cloud eggs, of course.

soft boiled with soldiers is god tier.
american style scrambled in a burrito or bagel on the go is god tier.
over hard or medium in a peppery tomato sandwich is god tier.
sunny side up in a full english is god tier.
poached on an english muffin or baked into an eggs florentine is god tier.
american style omelette with strongly flavoured fillings is god tier.
french style omelette with fines herbes is god tier.
soft scrambled eggs piled over toast with dill and smoked salmon or baked beans is god tier.
thai style puffy deep fried omelette with hot sauce is god tier.
hard boiled on an open sandwich with prawn cocktail is god tier.
devilled is god tier.
scotch eggs are god tier, especially with preserved lemon and fennel in the meat mixture.
fried into rice with broccoli is god tier.
sri lankan egg curry with string hoppers and sambal are god tier.

I guess they look nasty if you aren't used to seeing soft eggs maybe, but they're good if you eat them with some crunchy toast like he does in the video. If you use them for anything else they aren't the best way to cook them though.

Yes just use a good nonstick. I've done this a couple times, never intentionally, but occasionally in a rush I've forgotten to butter the pan first. They turn out fine, honestly, obviously a little blander due to lack of butter flavor, but I'd guess that most people wouldn't know the difference.

Don't compromise the deliciousness of your food for diet reasons, though. Just eat less of it.

How does Veeky Forums prepare their scrambled eggs?

Steam eggs domt boil them, same effect, but no gritty overcooked shit

Deep fried

Coddled eggs are awesome

his eggs look like porage, I like to stir less to form larger curds

bread eggs aka over medium

after a couple times you do it it's impossible to overboil eggs

Agreed, but steaming is faster too

Boiled.
Anything else just taste nasty with the whole egg aftertaste. Put some salt or mayo on if you're feeling fat.

Also nice undercooker mushrooms.

combustion of fuel and oxygen. or a volcano maybe

This is unironically and undoubtedly the best way to make eggs

I've been cooking my eggs like this for the past 1-2 years.

hhhhhhhhhhnnnnggggg trips of truth

Brutally underrated.

With every omelette, you practice heat control, which is absolutely essential

enlighten me

runny yolks are fucking gross and anyone who likes them is subhuman, they're usually from some third-world shithole. that said scrambled is the best way to make eggs.

Unironically this

cringe

I think you spelled “ironically” wrong. Poor lil’ buddy.

nice

found the literal child

>eww its icky

Except for the part where runny eggs are deeply rooted in European tradition

the way you like em

>omarice
Those are omelettes, retards.

Scotch eggs

poached eggs on toast is GOAT for me

Eggs that wet need to be salted properly to taste of much, but that texture is way better compared to tough, dry scrambled eggs or omelettes.

>youtube.com/watch?v=s10etP1p2bU
The second method in this video is the patrician egg dish (besides of course eggs benedict and egg in a basket).

Correct, delicious flavor of a runny yoke, but with superior texture and less messy.

Shame no restaurant will actually prepare one for you. Literally every medium egg I have ever ordered at a restaurant has been either easy or hard.

Whichever way you like them best.

Go ahead, ask another stupid question.

ham egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel nigga

Honestly the yolk just has to be runny. If your eggs aren't runny, you're a fucking pleb. Poached, sunny-side up, over easy, soft boiled, and scrambled but left runny. Those are the only acceptable forms for eating an egg by itself.

over easy is the only way

scrambled is best

my nigga

60 60 eggs

Scrambled my dude

I used to think that way too. You might enjoy it if you mix them in with something like hash-browns and pile it on a piece of toast. It's not as bad as you might think it is, you should give it a chance.
