What kind of peppers are these?

what kind of peppers are these?

red peppers

Thai birds eye on the left, Cayenne or something close to it on the right

left is capsicum frutescens
right is capsicum annum

pepperoncini on the left

Pretty sure this user is on the money.

This.

The left is called sweet thai chilli. As the name says, they're very sweet when eaten raw. Try it.

Spicy peppers

hot and slightly less hot.

DONT TRICK THE TURTLE

OP here
I'm making fermented garlic and artichoke hot sauce with it.
The market I bought these peppers from just said "hot red pepper" and "mini hot red pepper"

I saw those tiny peppers growing on a bush near my apartment

>mini hot red pepper
those look pretty good tho, I like those small peppers, hot but usually sweeter

turtles are unaffected by capsaicin, the bite was a warning bite.

why does the turtle seem to freak out though?

Flight or fight response.

Bullshit

bell peppers

Well, spicy shit only affects mammals. The turtle is shown to be scared at the beginning (hiding in shell) and gives out a warning bite on the pepper, then decides to run away to the point where it almost fell off the table. I wouldn't be surprised with the cooking utensils around, the turtle is about to become soup.

With fight or flight responses like that its a wonder the tortoise has survived so long.

I have to agree with this. I've caught turtles munching on low hanging habaneros in my garden. Also, the asshole mockingbirds steal my tabasco peppers.

Left looks like tabasco. Right looks like cayenne.

Those are chilli peppers

Looks like they're really mocking you
