Try to eat something that adds protein carbs and be sure to take in extra fluids. Mainly it will depend on if you have problems with your stomach or no sense of taste due to sinus problems. Protein will help you fight off the sickness because it will keep up white blood cell production carbs will help you maintain energy and the fluids will help you keep hydrated since you will lose more fluids due to illness.

Get a chicken carcass. Make a thin broth with garlic, lime, ginger and preferably some decent pepper (I'm white so habanero is generally my limit). Nurse some tea and try to get some bread/crackers/tortillas in you. Plenty of water, obviously.

plain greek yogurt with honey
coconut water
hot peppers, like jalepenos to habeneros

use zicam swabs
put vick's vapor rub on chest for 3 nights
maybe some alka seltzer plus
