Most underrated fast food joint, and also happens to be the best.

I wish they would keep a steak burger on the menu, they come out with one as a flavor of the month with slight variations a few times a year and they are always great

I had memories as a child of them having bomb ass milk shakes. When one finally opened up in my town it was the first thing I got. Never before had I felt my heart sink more when I saw them take a cup over to a machine that just dispensed the mixture.

Fries are always on point, and I'm always shocked at how good the burgers are.

I use to get their milkshakes as a kid too, that and an order of fries... damn I really wish there was still a checkers around here

Rally's was my first job in High School. I actually went back and worked there as an assistant manager while I got my degree after taking a few years off before going to college.

The menu has changed so much that I don't really care for it anymore. I miss the Chili Cheeseburger and the Rally-Q most.

There was a time when they did a partnership with the Green Burrito chain, and put in a Mexican menu while I was there. There was a 2 lbs burrito called the Big Ed. I used to use my 50% employee discount to make one right before close, and making it myself I could cram close to 4 lbs of food into those 2 13 inch tortillas, and use it to feed myself for a few days off. I'm sure guys like me are why that partnership failed.

Honestly, with any chain eatery you are going to deal with varying conditions and you're always going to run the risk of shit like this, I worked at a certain chain pizza place that was managed fairly well in terms of keeping the store clean, and there was a location just a couple miles away I went in a few times to deliver/borrow ingredients, and their store was absolutely disgusting, crud and rotting crap on the floor, flour everywhere seemingly caked on for months, etc etc

Google only yielded me this review, no other mentions or image

What ever happened to the Ralley Q. I have to say, and in doing so I date myself somewhat, that I remember when Rallys and Checkers Restaurants opened their chains in central Ohio. Both very similar, and I understand through various sources that these were both one chain at one time. I always enjoyed the Rally Q sandwich and wish it was a regular item on the menu. The fish sandwich each spring during Lent is also a favorite I would like to see as a standard item. Some of you may not be aware of this but, there is also a very tasty BLT available on the menu. Unfortunately its on a burger bun, but quite good, inspite of the lack of toast. Im not a big burger fan, but I have never had a bad burger at Ralleys, and I have had several there. The store on Memorial Drive has a cordial rock of a woman who anchors that store and keeps it running efficiently. She is the senior to everyone I have ever seen working there, and has been there for a long time. I always look foreward to seeing her there because I know if something isnt right, she will make it right. I do love the twisty fries, inspite of the fact that I shouldnt indulge. The quantity is always great as is the quality. I would love to see another store at the Old Big Bear site, close to the road in the outlot on West Main Street near the Chase Bank. Keep up the good work.

I go to school in North Philly and there are like 3 checker's in my vicinity. It's definitely a nig establishment, like Church's, but fuck if it isn't some fantastic fast food. Their fries and burgers blow Mcdonald's and BK out of the water. Did drive through in some sketch-ass part of the city at 3 am once and honestly thought I was gonna get shanked but that's half the fun

This is probably why checkers isn't nearly as popular as it could be, most are located in shit holes.
