Fry Dipping

What do you like to dip your fries/chips in, if anything?

>Mayo with fresh fries

Chocolate milkshake or fry sauce (2 parts mayo, one part ketchup).

Nothing. Though sometimes I'll sprinkle with malt vinegar, and sometimes I'll top them with chili and cheese, if I'm feeling like punishing my heart.

Freddy’s fry sauce is pretty good

my dad likes malt vinegar on his with extra pepper, but chili cheese is always good

Depends on the fries.
Cajun fries or garlic-parm: no improvement needed.
Chili-cheese/ poutine/ disco fries: sauce already included.
Fish and chips: malted vinegar
Steak frites: peppercorn sauce from my filet au poivre.
Plain ol' fries with a burger: plain ol' ketchup.

tartar sauce masterrace

Ranch

quality taste

This is a good guide. However, I do like tomato sauce with my fish and chips too.

BBQ sauce or my tears

Ketchup or honey mustard, but not very much. And usually only for fast food or other mediocre-to-okay tier fries.
Nicer, proper chips from a restaurant or homemade I wouldn't use regular/bottled condiments on.

Au Jus or gravy is nice when appropriate though.
Really, I just salt my fries a bit, only if they need it.

Poutine is fucking lit as hell if done right though.

honey bbq or salted ketchup

>literally anything else

sriracha mayo

This but ranch is also good for regular fries :3

thousand island dressing

Ranch, honey mustard, honey bbq, bare or with ketchup as a last resort

Nothing. I'm a fucking normie that likes only salt.

Ketchup if salt is unavailable.

Mayo unironically.

Mayo with garlic and cracked pepper. Best for steak fries

We call them war fries. Mayo - peanutsauce and raw onions.

Balsamic vinaigrette

Usually I prefer Ketchup or gravy, but recently my girlfriend introduced me to mayoketchup which as the name implies is one part ketchup one part mayonnaise. poutine is also a big favorite of mine.

Cut your potatoes and let them sit in water for a few hours in the fridge with a touch of vinegar or lemon juice. Wash them after. Dry them and let them reach room temp. Use canola oil on med high heat until golden brown.

Always garlic Salt and pepper, and sometimes cayenne or chilli flake for additional spice if wanted.

But personally the absolute best dipping sauce in my opinion is a nice beef Au Jus.

Ranch and franks red hot. Or blue cheese and hot sauce. Alternatively, Mac sauce/thousand island dressing.

Ketchup.

And I've started to indulge in sprinkling malt vinegar on them.

Usually Goytsup™, or sometimes if I am feeling adventurous, plain old classic mustard.

I tried mayo, mustard and siracha last week it was godly

Tabasco sauce

Kethup with a few dashes of malt vinegar or worchestershire sauce depending on my mood. They each add their own interesting kick.
