Just had this in the oven for four hours. Internal temp is 52 (125). Will be grilling that in about 3 hours on the barbeque. I suppose 15 minutes would be the max in the bbq.
Thoughts?

>3 hour resting period
why
Need the oven for other stuff on higher temps.
Why is that BBQ wearing headphones?
Novice here. I've always wondered what the purpose of tying a roast is. Does it keep the juices in something?
they normally tied meat to keep it in shape after cooking, some meats then to deform into otherworldly shapes after heated
ebin
Butcherd this myself. The piece was somewhat thicker on one end, for the better even internal temps i tied it up.
Underrated.
Decent result

Said the idiot who expects to live forever if he never allows himself a nice piece of meat.

Made my group favorite Prime Rib for Xmas dinner, using the closed over method.
Smeared that fucked with butter mixed w/ fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper
Came out prefect and the outer crust was delicious.
You need to cook it more
Charred skin, delicious
I saw your overcooked roast in another thread. You botched it. Take notes from the OP of thread and maybe give it another shot next year
You see an image of the outermost meat and you assume it's fired all the way through? Do you only read the covers of books and assume you've read the whole thing?
Dead
You dumb son of a bitch. I just said the user posted their overcooked roast in another thread. Do you only read parts of posts and assume you've read the whole thing?
>the outer crust was delicious.

you know the difference between crust and charcoal?
Looks fucking fantastic, don't listen to these swine saying "hurr u need to cook it xD", it's fucking perfect. Probably need some finishing salt on top of the slices and ideally some jus but man that looks nice.
