Plain roast chestnuts. Can't get them in the U.S.

Poutine hands down.

I love travelling to mexico and eating tacos, al pastor and suadero are my favorites

>Traveling to Mexico

Nice knowing you user

Cantonese street food is pretty good, so is Taiwanese street food. Guabao, Ice Cream Runbing, and black pepper buns are things I would always get in Taiwan, and I'd always get custard tarts, pork buns, and fried squid in Hong Kong

Malaysian street food is amazing if you can find something authentic near you. Also Mexican.

I'm in Malaysia for a couple of weeks, what street food should I try? My trip requires me to stay in Selangor

Chicken rice, char siew rice, wantan mee, nasi lemak, bak ku teh, roti, cendol, and that's before all the Malay stuff. Just look for the hawker areas.

those mexican hot dogs wrapped in bacon and also those corn cobs dipped in that weird goo and coated in cheese

the best.

>nasi lemak
>before all the malay stuff

>Live in a rural area

It really isn't. The taste is supreme.

Nothing like being in New York(I don't live there, but it's nice to visit) and getting a dirty water hot dog on a snowy winter's day.

Never Forget

a lil overrated imo also it's a direct product of french colonialism so there's that

I've paid for a same day return flight to Amsterdam just to get proper maatjes

I can't remember the name, but it was a crepe like flatbread I had in a Muslim area in Southern Thailand with some basic fillings and wrapped up like a crepe, but completely different tasting.
