It's not closing because it was doing badly. It was packed with flyover cows willing to fork over $35 a plate for garbage food shilled by "that guy on TV."

The Jew that owns the building wanted to jack up the rent to the point the restaurant would be barely breaking even or losing money, so they decided to just shut it down instead of renewing lease at the rate the Jew has demanded.

He's not a big enough celebrity or a good enough chef to open a NYC restaurant/become a restaurateur (Michael Jordan knows nothing about food but has restaurant in every casino, for reference) . I live near his few original restaurants, which were always kind of confused and just mediocre for the prices, and they've just gotten worse once he became a celebrity.

The vast majority of restaurants fail, especially in major urban areas with high rent and discerning customers. The fact that he couldn't find people to run that shit for him and bank on his celebrity is just embarrassing.

He’s still richer than you’ll ever be

>He's not a big enough celebrity
Literally a household name. The problem is NYC is full of literal kikes that make owning a business completely impossible unless you own the land itself.

This is the case with a lot of places. I used to work at a place that was doing decently, until the rent got jacked up and they decided to pull out. Sometimes it's just not worth it to stay when the landlords are being jews.

He doesn't deserve the hate tbqh

He's just an easy target because how he looks

I have notice that when this happens a new gym shows up in that spot there were a few places i loved going to out here including a 99 ranch market that were forced out do to the rent going up from $2300 to $15,000 the restaurant and the 99 ranch market were in the same lot and after they were gone a crunch fitness and a Mexican restaurant were there

I brought up Michael Jordan having a successful restaurant chain to make the point that being a successful celebrity restaurateur is about hiring people who know how to get the job done using your name - like Trump. Iron Chef people like Bobby Flay have made it because they're actual chefs with a ton of experience, but are also business people who know the right people and hire them to build their empire. Guy was a fucking Food Network Star winner who had a handful of ((okay)) restaurants in bumfuck strip malls in NorCal. If he hired people who knew that they were doing and told him how to invest his money he'd be doing just fine.

otherwise defined as "doing badly". if you can't make enough to justify the real estate, you're a failure.

You idiot, the kike landlord got greedy, now the space will be empty until the Jew lowers the price or it will be doomed to short term lessors.

You retarded?

>Only the chefs I don't like have to close restaurants because they're bad! The ones I like that close had other reasons!
You're pretty retarded

>Amerilards are this brainwashed

>yuropoors this far removed from basic economics

I think Bobby Flay is a fucking hack, but he's on an entire different level from Fieri when it comes to chef experience and business acumen.

Hi Mort.

This happened to my one of my favorite restaurants a couple years ago. I heard that the landlord kept raising the price on purpose cause they wanted them out.

Now it's just sitting there as dilapidated unused space with the faded letters of the restaurant banner out front, so idk what the landlord's end game was.

we did it reddit!

Jewish rent-seeking is amongst the most parasitic of kike behaviours.

>It's not closing because it was doing badly
>garbage food shilled by "that guy on TV."
Well which is it?

You're the one that doesn't understand you fucking belligerent moron.

...

Wow! Another rapists has his career ruined!

Any of you guys go to the restaurants showcased on his shows?

My dad likes the show, so he's taken me along a few times. The places are usually super busy with mediocre/overpriced food.

He's probably still doing well enough with Tex Wasabi and Johnny Garlic's, so it's hardly a victory.
