Which one is your favorite ?

Not on there, but buttercream filled.

I like cake donuts. A French cruller with a cup of coffee is also very nice.

Blueberry cake.

Alwsys perfer cake over yeast.

Glazed

Oh... maybe once a year. Fried dough coated in sugar?? Kiss the day goodbye, massive sugar rush. Just not worth it, really.

glazed but without the glaze

The Homer Simpson

>ruining the best donut ever conceived by adding sprinkles

French cruller

sprinkles add:
1. a pleasant crunchy texture
2. a uniquely sweet, starchy, slightly bitter taste
3. a pleasant visual stimuli that triggers receptors in your brain that increase the pleasantness of the donut eating experience.

all of which you obviously are too unintelligent to appreciate.

For me it is the long John, the very best donut.

>inb4 /mlp/

>breaking up the smooth, relaxing softness of the dough and the subtle crispness of the frosting with barbaric rock pellets

If I have to get a donut I'm getting a motherfucking apple fritter. God they're awesome.

I hate doughnuts.

>rock pellets
>soft cylinder-shaped sprinkles
It's not the small orb sprinkles you literal brainlet. You're just wrong.

Jelly

Such an unrefined palette. Please leave my presence before you contaminate my sensitive tongue.

>Didn't know what he was talking about at all
>Calling someone else's palette unrefined
Next time actually try the foods you're discussing

Old fashioned, French cruller, Apple fritter top 3

This. A plain cake donut is GOAT if done right.

>tfw you live in a non-free country and your only options are shitty-servo cinnamon or driving into the CBD to a specialty shop.

I haven't even seen half of those types of donuts before, let alone tasted them.

undeniably pic related

>palette

where do you live lad?

DONUT HOLES ARE CALLED MUNCHKINS

PLEASE LEAVE

The land of chicko rolls.

1. Buttermilk/old fashioned (they taste the same to me)
2. Apple fritter
3. Maple bar

Though sometimes I will choose the apple fritter over the old-fashioned or buttermilk because it is crunchier.

A lot of my coworkers love the French cruller.

I haven’t tried that or a lot of the others.

Well, you don’t have to eat the whole thing at once. You can eat it more slowly throughout the day.

Don't you guys have meat pies at every gas station though? That's the world I want to live in

Yeah, but would you swap donuts for meat pies? The grass is always greener, brother.

>no vanilla cream donut

...get the rest of that shit away from me.

The picture clearly distinguishes a long John as the chocolate frosted and a maple bar as a maple bar. So do you like the chocolate frosted or maple frosted?

I probably would. At least in the winter. I'm not a big sweets guy though

>Entenmann’s
No thanks.

This.

In that case you'd probably be set, most servos have half a dozen types of pies or more.... and maybe two types of donut if you're lucky.
Winter is 60f here at worst though.

Best donut is sour cream donut.

Jelly, blueberry cake and chocolate cake are my top three. Cake doughnuts are especially good with coffee.

Yeah I'm more a salty or savory fan. Those meme maple bacon donuts would be missed though. Best thing that came from the bacon fan

All of them look great but if I had to rank em from the list:
1. Boston Cream (in small quantities; very rich)
2. chocolate frosted
3. old fashioned (with coffee to dip into)
4. maple bar
5. jelly

The one with banana frosting.

Vanilla frosted with jam filling

I just buy the most colorful meme donut of the month.

Taco Bell and Donut shops are the places where I only buy meme items.

We used to call french curllers "tractor wheels" when I was younger.

Cruller master race.

Custard filled.
Creame filling can fuck right off

eclair with bavarian cream
I could eat those for days.

Boston cream

You're a cunt

For me, it's Shipley's cherry glazed donut.

I say cruller but I've heard some people pronounce it crooler

They're called long Johns here no matter the frosting.

old fashioned but the chocolate version with glaze
cruller

A vanilla long John or a warm apple fritter with some butter

Puttin some butter on a donut like the fat fuck you are

I cant find the long John in the Netherlands

If you like jelly-filled "donuts" then you're basically not human.

cinnamon twist looks mighty fine. Surprised no one has snagged it yet.

>Long john

...

Her cheeks look like they're not getting enough blood.

Why is there no peanut butter filled doughnut? It feels like that should be a thing but I haven't even heard of it before

If you've ever made a toasted pb&j it gets a bit runny. It wouldn't do too good in an oven. I'm sure someone could figure it out though. Why a pb&j don't isn't a thing yet, I'm not sure. Maybe someone on this god awful board can do something with this and never post here again.

Donut* If somebody does get rich off this, remember me. I just want to talk to somebody doing good.

more! link or something man

I assume they could whip it into something frothier or emulsify it into something. My worry was that it would get too thick when cold, honestly.

I hope you're not taking credit for my idea, but I also hope we both get to see it someday

Cruller

You guys
They fill donuts after they are cooked
Regardless of being baked or fried
Typically you fill a warm to cold donut, peanut butter melting won’t be a problem
The problem is peanut butter is sticky so they’ll have to add something to make it easier to consume without milk

I knew someone was going to say this.

id say old fashion or french cruller.

NO THEY'RE CALLED TIMBITS YOU MOOSE REARED HOSER

That's the same thing as an old fashioned.

Plain cake is the best when done properly. I don't need no damn frosting or anything to detract from my donut experience

boston creme

They're munchkins you fucking syrup-nigger

buttermilk boys quem topa?

Buttermilk/old fashion or an apple fritter

That's how I've always said it.

Long John for sure, with a cup of black coffee

I'm a real sucker for dick

I mean glazed twists.

Blueberry Cake and Glazed are the objective best donuts

I love a glazed (shape of choice) or old-fashioned. If I'm feeling up to the richness I'll get a boston cream

I have a local store that whips peanut butter with heavy cream and other shit, so its like the filling of a peanut butter pie.

>apple cider donuts not listed

For me, its the maple bar. Fuck me I haven't had one in years.

I have had a pb&j donut, it was good but nothing that special. The peanut butter actually doesn't have the best mouthfeel to accompany the fluffy dough.

Crumb cake, holes and devil's food.Really wanna try some of the rest.

>Boston Cream
>Long John
>Maple Bar
>Strawberry Frosted
There's a place that makes a GOD-TIER strawberry donut. The frosting has fresh strawberries and there's strawberries in the donut itself. Fucking killer.

They also do a jelly-style donut that's stuffed with blackberry preserves. Getting one of those bad boys right out of the fryer is great.

I've seen peanut butter applied to donuts in various fashions. One of my personal favorites is a chocolate and peanut butter fritter.

1. Maple Bar
2. Boston Cream
3. Apple Fritter
4. Cinnamon Twist
5. French Cruller

oh I like this picture.

This guy gets it.

I only like unglazed but otherwise modern glazed-style donuts, but every time I order one the baker looks at me like I'm retarded and asks if I want a cake donut.

FUCKING NO I WANT THE DONUT YOU HAVE RIGHT HERE, BUT JUST NOT GLAZED. The donut is a fantastic junk food, almost patrician, until they drown it in too much sugar and refuse to not molest one for you to purchase, even when there is a batch coming out of the oven reee.

I like maple bars because they remind me of my grandpa.

Blueberry donuts have the perfect amount of glaze

Walnut crunch from Tim Horton :(

the filename says maple frosted

Andagi (Okinawan , Hawaiian)

I used to scrape off the frosting off of the chocolate donuts.
It's not ideal but it works.
