IDEAL BURGER THREAD

What's your ideal burger? You can choose any ingredients to put on it.
For me it would be:
>sesame seed bun (lightly toasted)
>1 layer iceberg lettuce (I like it to be a little crunchy)
>1-2 bits of bacon
>BBQ sauce (the expensive shit)
>caramelised onions
>1 layer american cheese
>angus beef patty (cut horizontally with a layer of cheddar in between)
>1 layer swiss cheese
>a couple slices of beetroot
>some more lettuce (maybe with a little grated carrot if i'm feeling healthy)
>Bottom bun
I also like to have some hot chips on the side but if not, I like to fit a hash brown on the burger as well.

I've never heard of beet roots on burger but it sounds pretty good desu, mine would be in this order:
>Bottom bun
>spinach, soft cheese (probably feta)
>patty, doesn't matter what kind of beef it is
>raw onion
>little bit of pepper
>top bun

>grilled top bun
>dijon mustard
>dab of mayo
>thick cut raw onion
>a bit of bacon
>sharp cheddar
>burger
>grilled bottom bun

on the side I'd prefer some grilled corn, maybe some crisps but definitely a nice cold brew to go with it

Eggs on burgers? yes or no?

Personally, I think people who put eggs on burgers need to be rounded up and shot, especially runny eggs which turn the burger into a sloppy pile of shit

also I do like hash browns on burgers, but not fries.

occasionally I enjoy a "breakfast" burger
Ill fry up an egg and some hashbrowns then throw on some bacon

Best burger I've ever made.
>sesame seed top bun (grilled with cajun seasoning)
>pepper jack cheese
>beef patty
>tomato
>raw red onion
>spinach
>sesame seed bottom bun (grilled with cajun seasoning)

Here's maybe not my *ideal* burger, but it'd be pretty god damn good.

>top bun, it's a fresh warm pretzel bun
>brown sugar caramelized bacon
>homemade sweet and spicy BBQ
>slice of cheddar jack
>slice of pepper jack
>patty made of a mix of sirloin, ground chuck, and bacon
>slice of swiss
>spicy brown mustard
>bottom of the bun

Side would be a specific kind of french fry I had like five years ago while on a road trip. They were crisp and seasoned and utterly delicious and I have never found them again. Drink would be a custom soda replicating a Dr. Pepper.

Heres a traditional danish burger:
>Buttom bun
>Patty
>Pickled beet root slices
>Caramelized onions
>Top bun
>Drizzled with a nice thick gravy over the entire burger
Extras that you can add inside the burger if you prefer: Remoulade, pickles, ketchup and cheese, but the above mentioned is the traditional way.

It's a shitty picture that does not do it justice.

>bottom bun
>mayo maybe
>carmelized onion
>thin patty
>bit of shredded cheese
>mushrooms (raw)
>bit more cheese
>another thin patty
>fuckloads of lettuce
>thick tomato slice
>a bit more mayo
>top gun
Serve with a Dr Pepper and some potato wedges

That actually sounds pretty good

I normally prefer the standard burgers, but sometimes I just get the cravings for that delicious sloppy mess.

> Toasted Brioche Bun
> Onion Relish
> Smoked Bacon

White Castle burgers don't really need sauces, because the flavor is onion air

My man
That sounds good

I generally make mine at least once a week at my kitchen
>potato bun
>house hot sauce and mayo
>medium rare ground beef patty(I grind the beef myself too)
>Swiss cheese perhaps Gruyere if I'm feeling it
>bib lettuce lightly tossed in olive oil, hot pepper vinegar and salt
>two thick tomato slices
>pickles
>pickled red onions,
>guacamole
>top potato bun

I love acidity and fucking he'll I'm gonna make that today. I'm hungry as fuck.

I also like to make these little filet mignon sliders
>bun
>hot sauce, mayo
>two thin slices from a filet just kissed by the grill. Still red on the inside, hot on the outside
>spread Bernaise sauce on top bun and stick green onions and cilantro up in that shit.

And of course, always grill the buns

>Be from Europe
>Go over to my American friends house for dinner after school
>His mum serves up hamburgers they look so good
>Start taking apart the burger, making a salad out of the vegetables, cutting the meat into strips, cutting the bread into slices
>Look up at my friend
>His just shoved the whole fucking thing into his mouth
>literally just eating it all together
>took a bite right out of the middle like some starving kid
>never went back to his house

Americans really eat all that junk together? they've completely missed the point of a burger.
