I like one shot of coffee liqueur, one shot of creme de cacao and two shots of vodka.

Is that a filthy Russian

I never went to college.

they're all filthy

Originally it was either what people were giving away or 40s. When I was old enough to buy alcohol on my own it was generally six-packs of Yuengling and rotgut bourbon neat. (mostly Heaven Hill white label and Evan Williams) By senior year I was experimenting more with cocktails and beers that were actually worth drinking. That was around the time craft beers started taking off and people stopped considering Sam Adams a microbrew.

Whatever was cheap. Had a Rite Aid near us that was perpetually stuck in 1975, wood paneling and all. They sold Schaefer, that was cheap.

Antifreeze.
>empty milk jug
>fifth of everclear
>2 liter of mountain dew
>pack of lemonade mix
>fill water to top
>shake to combine

Cuba libre always

>malibu
most overrated shit drink, i hate it
I mixed vodka with some orange-mango juice drink and it came out good; it would probably work well with any hard liquor. Particularly vodka that's less terrible than what we had.

Moscow mule
Vodka and cranberry
Margarita

bourbon, red wine, ale. No garbage here

Your Mom goes to college.

Currently in college. I don't really do cocktails unless I'm at a bar, in which case I like to go for Long Island Iced Tea, gin and tonic, or something from their list of cocktails, if there's something interesting. I had one drink at a self-proclaimed gastro pub that was creme de violet (sp) and maybe something lemon-y? It was very good. The food was amazing, too, but the hostess was a cunt.

At home, I generally just do flavored vodka and LaCroix, or beer. Pineapple rum and coconut LaCroix is a nice mix. Sometimes I throw in frozen fruit for a post-drink lazy snack.

After a discussion with a friend about how ordering an Irish Car Bomb in Ireland would basically be like ordering a 9/11 shot in NYC, we decided a 9/11 shot needed to be made.

Ideally it's a buddy shot. The drink is prepared and consumed thus:

1. Mix two Manhattans. Whiskey doesn't matter, because they're about to be ruined.
2. Pour two shots of Fireball.
3. Both cheers with their Manhattans and drop the shots into the drink with an enthusiastic cheer of "aloha snackbar" in a fake arabic accent.
4. One of the participants consumes their drink. The other delays until at least the first one is finished (since the two buildings didn't fall simultaneously hurr hurr) before consuming theirs.
5. At any point during the process any passersby can be roped in to be "building 7", and do a shot of whatever's handy.

Originally the Fireball was going to be a flaming shot of everclear, but that was scrapped pretty early on for obvious reasons.

it involved sauce from some leftover curry, pineapple rum and a shot of batavia arrack

I like it.

I made my own drink. Its whiskey rocks with a corona on the side

Holy fuck

Go to bed, James.

gordons gin and juice all day erry day

Malibu and Soco are two things I doubt anyone besides college-aged girls drink. 99 bananas is only bought by college guys in order to get college girls drunk enough to sleep with them.

What about pic related?

Not really sure since Three Olives was still building their US market when I was in college, but I know college bitches drink it to feel classy.

I just know bitches would be all over a vodka that tastes like fucking fruit loops.

Currently in college. I drink sierra nevada for beer, a chocolate stout for hearty meals, and kraken that I mix with coke. Also have a few bottles of wine I bought for a buck each. They are usually 15 so i couldn't resist.

The only drink I've found with those specific ingredients is called a Mocha Martini, but it has different ratios and is shaken with ice then strained into a glass. I don't bother with that prep. I just pour them all in a glass and give them a little mix with a spoon or something.
I think I'll name it a Mocha Putin.

I've also been experimenting with pouring coffee liqueur and sometimes creme de cacao in the bottom of a beer mug then pouring a stout over the booze. Delicious. I wouldn't ruin an exceptional stout like a Founders Breakfast Stout or anything like that like this, but it's fucking great with cheap Guinness from the grocery store.

hershey's chocolate syrup and peppermint schnapps.

No glass, just poured straight into mouth.

Used to be straight amaretto, learned to bartend and now I'm into Tiki stuff. Even if you don't have access to a fully stocked bar: orgeat, aromatic bitters ,and a soda fill are never going to suck.

When I feel like doing it up big I go for a Ramos. Especially great as an opener before the serious drinking of the night has started.

You're probably a strange dude but there's something intriguing about a college kid who's really into tiki drinks.

Nah, college me was the amaretto. I didn't discover the joy of tiki until much, much later.

In college I drank a lot of single-malt Scotch. Hooray for student loan money. Now that I've graduated and am broke all the time, mostly cheap bourbon, vodka, and beer. I make a Martini or a whiskey sour or gin fizz from time to time, but a lot of the single malts I used to drink have gone way up in price for me to drink on the regular. I'll miss you, Talisker.

coke and rum at college for me

So how do you deal with falernum, pimento dram and shit? That's mostly what's been holding me back when it comes to tiki drinks (as well as findig good rums where I am). Any recommendation for a cheaper black rum that won't be drowned out by all the other ingredients? Tried making a classic mai tai with appleton estate signature blend a while ago, it just got lost in everything else.

Mostly beer, with a beer chaser.
My roommate and I generally had a pretty well stocked liquor cabinet. We were drunk a lot, so I honestly can't remember if we "invented" any drinks. I do remember the two of us pushing the washing machine down a flight of stairs, though.

My friends and I would usually just fill up big pitchers with half a handle of vodka, a carton of orange juice, and a tallboy of something cheaap like natty. Apparently it's called a lunchbox or something? The cheap beer carbonated it and made it taste like orange soda, and you were fucked before you knew off a couple cups.

I drank plenty of Bombay sapphire and orange juice as well when I had my own place and I had a decent job working nights in college.

If not that, then it was $5 all you can drink PBR for two hours nights at the regular bar my friends and I would start the night out in.

At bars, I'd write down the recipe for a "Nein Lives" that read.
>3 clears
>3 darks
>3 chasers
>all bartenders choice.
Results varied, obviously, but always had a good time.

Oh, and bacardi mixed with MD 20/20 called "Triple Two One Triple Two". You can probably guess why.

my favorite creation in college was melting an otter pop just a little bit and using it as a straw for shitty vodka drinks.

Bacardi with cod liver oil.

Yeah this is great.

>Apparently it's called a lunchbox or something

Id heard of a similar but it was in dropshot form. Vodka + Amaretto dropped into OJ and cheap beer. Got me fucked real quick.

My usual was my favorite party liquor and coke, pic related

This sounds fucked. How much lemonade mix is in a pack?

Drank a lot of jägermeister. Not with red bull though.
Also beer.

Absinthe, sometimes mixed with energy drinks. I got into craft beer during college too. Sometimes cheap beer and once in a while wine.
I one listened to Bowie's 'The man who sold the world' album while drinking an entire 750ml bottle of red and continuing with Hunky Dory with an entire bottle of white. My alcohol tolerance was way lower back then so that was pretty intense. On absinthe I preferred porn.

Boodle's gin martini, dry, shaken, with a single olive rolling about the bottom because I don't like skewers in my face.

I have since grown up and learned that a twist is favorable to an olive.

Now if only you'd learn that Martinis are not to be shaken, you'd be mah nigga.

>What was y’alls favorite drink during college?
as much high-proof rum as i could physically consume

In grad school we created a drink called "Discharge" It was a 12 pack of busch light, a handle of skol vodka, a tub of pink lemonade powder and finish with texas pete hotsauce. Mix all of this in a large container and it tastes like puke but sweet good puke. also bonus points if you slurp the lovely frothy discharge on top.

Advocaat with lemon, it tastes like lemon pie.

I used to mix Kentucky Gentleman and grape juice infront of the xbox when I was a fat youngster

Vodka beers

Seagrams VO and PBR

Add Starkist tuna lunch kits, cocaine, and Camel lights, and that's what I lived on

the red flavor, sometimes mixed with a little sprite

Find a liquor store that caters to bars and restaurants, they tend to stock some of the weirder ingredients. Don't be afraid to experiment with the ingredients.

As far as Dark Rums go, my favorite is Myers's but there's nothing wrong with Capt. Morgan Original. You're going to be mixing it with a lot of heavily flavored ingredients that are going to cover up most of the subtlety, anyway. My preference it to pull back a bit and grab a handle of Light and Spiced Rums to go with it. The versatility more than outweighs the benefit of focusing on one prestige bottle.

>Freshman Year
Equal parts Arnold Palmer and Captain Morgan. I was a nerd and had basically no knowledge of alcohol.
>Sophomore Year
Gin, spirte, and a ton of citrus
>Junior Year
Evan Williams mixed with sour mix and coca cola. I forget what mixer portions i used but it was a double shot in a rocks glass and tasted like sweet tea with no alcohol bite.
>Senior year
Started actually reading up on mixology and cocktail stuff. Made things that weren't gross

Clover Club is fucking amazing, who would have thought that gin, lemon juice, grenadine and a fucking egg white would mix so well together?

Vodka water was it for me. It makes shitty vodka tolerable and does a good job at keeping away hangovers. For beer, I think Classic Ice is unironically the best shitty beer on the market.
I chuckled, would buy you a drink if I saw you doing this in public.
There's a girl I know that likes this, we did it at a Christmas party and it was nice.

Beer, neat, with a lemon twist.

Holy fuck this is great. Me and my bud fucking love car bombs.

We made one called the Holocaust because it was so awful. Tequila and tonic water

Diet mountain dew and spiced rum. Looked awful, friends called it brown piss, tasted fine though.

This is fucking great.

ight brah ima shoot y'all a 411 on the BEST DRINK IN EGZISTANCE.
>3 parts pine syrup
>2 ice cubes shaped like death stars
>1 lime, muddled at the bottom
>2 parts vodka
>2 parts rye
>1 part sweet tea
the brahs here in the castle in the dunes call it "the lazy susan". heard cheddar legs got laid with it once. good on him

What drink gets you the most drunk without actually tasting like alcohol? Is it the Screwdriver?

I call them ghetto blasters (fliff night professor brothers) Dubra and ginger ale or any other cheap soda I can find.

youtube.com/watch?v=Sp3wTXYoCCg

my negro

Vodka mixed into literally anything with a strong flavor, especially sweet+sour.

Wine was always my personal favorite- at a decent liquor store I'm always able to find good wine under $20. If not that then I'll have a 20oz of Budweiser, I was never too much of a fan of mixed drinks.

...

Vodka is real easy to over power. I got in trouble once mixing a giant beer glass with vodka and orange soda.

You can mix sweet bourbon and coke real easy too. Beam and Coke was a favorite of mine until a few years ago.

vodka, blue bols, mix with orangina . one of the best tasting drinks ever.

Hard cider with fireball
Shit fucks you up but it's so good

Yeah, it's definitely not something I'd be up for these days.
Just one packet. Enough to make a quart or two, it's not like a whole container or anything.

2 parts tequila 1 part 151 and 3 parts OJ. This shit got the panties off so many chicks it wasn't even funny.

Am currently in college, rum and coke is the shit

I could understand Malibu if it were actual rum, but it's fucking 20%, why even bother?

I saw The Big Lebowski freshman year and then I wouldn't drink anything but White Russians

Creamsicle

Bacardi 151
Orange juice
Niagara grape juice

1 or 2 shots of bacardi, fill glass to 3/4 with orange juice top with grape juice. After the first cup it tastes like candy.

bud light platinum

Bluestone

Keystone with oranges

Not that bad

Half a bottle of MD 20/20 mixed with half a bottle of vodka.
