Any suggestions on what to eat tonight? Currently at meeting downtown. Have the option of staying downtown or by the airport....obviously going to stay downtown. This city is fucking awesome! Have been getting along well with all the Canadians. even in the cold, which I don't like much, I am still enjoying this trip. I kinda want to stay on for a couple of extra days.

Momofuku like all the clueless business travellers with too much money.

What kind of food are you interested in or are hungry for. I work as a cook in the city and have been all over, I'll req you my friend

Care to narrow down what you are interested in? There are lots of different types of restaurants in Toronto.
Nicholas Sanders
Poutine from any Harvey's. Cake from Uncle Tetsu's on Dundas

depends what you want. Toronto has basically everything you would want, spaced out across a 15 mile or 23km? radius. Japanese, indian, greek, chinese, middle eastern, toronto has a place for it. the only thing they don't do well/reasonably priced is bbq. They have great joints there that do it but it is pretty expensive compared to southern u.s.
Connor Mitchell
Great! OP here. was thinking about
1. a steak house 2. sushi 3. cheap eats close to spadina and king area? 4. indian downtown 5 cheap eats/bar food around downtown. 6. good ribs?
trying to keep it cheap, besides steak house because if I stay on, I can't expense meals.
thanks!
Levi Price
Why would you go to Toronto to eat ribs?
Jordan Collins
1. Barbarians 2. Sushi on Bloor or New Generation sushi (both in the same area, google) 3. Bahm Mi Boys? Cheap vietnamese sandwiches. 4. Don't know. The only good place downtown I have been to closed. The best Indian food for a good price is in Brampton, which is 20km out of the city. great food. Otherwise, if you have $25-$30 you can find a good indian place downtown if you know what you want 5. Sneaky Dee's bar. fun crowd, tex mex food, not bad beer prices. across the road is Bistro 422. Cheapest beer in area, good cheap food. Not sure how sanitary that place is but friends and I have eaten there for years and are still alive. 6. Stock yards. great fried chicken too.
Charles Miller
because I like ribs and will crave them when I'm stoned off this canadian weed they have. I had a great poutine for lunch so I marked that off my list. Was pretty good. was told I should be eating it drunk.
Grayson Carter
Seconding Sneaky Dee's. very fun place.
If you want Indian food head up to "Little India" on Gerrard Street. It isn't quite downtown but isn't too far away.
I wouldn't go to Brampton for any reason, but I do agree that there are hidden ethnic gems in the suburbs because that's where most of the ethnic folks live.
Hudson Ward
hit up church street and find some juicy sausage
Adrian Bailey

If craft beer is your thing, hit up the Amsterdam brewery. Food is pretty good too.
