Steak

What is the worst non-meme way to cook a steak?

And by non-meme, I mean dumb "milk steak boiled over hard" shit or the like.

Well done

Probably your pic. Retards that grill 3 inch thick steaks and either have a raw steak or a steak that's rare on the inside and completely burnt on the outside.

I like to microwave my horse stakes, with some gumvines on the side.

Medium rare

reverse sear medium rare seasoned with salt and pepper in a cast iron skillet

I really don't get why people like the diamond sear patern. it just ruines the aesthetic of the steak 99% of the time

Steak is simple. Let your steak come to room temp. Liberally salt and pepper both sides. Pre heat oven to 425. Bring cast iron skillet to hotter than hellfire. Sear both sides 2min each. Add tablespoon butter to top of steak and move pan to oven for 3 minutes for perfect medium rare. Let rest on cutting board before serving. Serve with hearty red wine. Bordeaux goes very well with med rare steak.
