Watching videos of people speaking Italian on YouTube, listening to my family speaking Italian, reading literature or Italian poetry etc - all of it is just so aesthetic. Even general conversing sounds so rhythmic like poetry. I have been learning Italian for a few months now and it has been really enjoyable to learn. Having studied French previously the learning curve has been very small. Discuss.
Does any language come close to Italian in its aesthetics and rhythm?

Once your Italian gets good enough check out the great Italian poets of the 20th century: Montale, Saba, Zanzotto, Ungaretti, D'Annunzio, Pascoli, etc.

Standard Arabic comes close. It does not flow like Latin and Latin derivates, but it has it's own cadence. In everyday speech, it's like a horse in a lazy canter. In poetic reading, the horse gallops and leaps and pauses and gallops again. It's punctate, and I particularly like the fact that it is physically impossible to speak it without annunciating every letter.
doesn't english have a healthy mixture of many great qualities of many langues?
This is where you list Italian poets you've been reading.
C- post.
English is the best language.

This. If you were brought up on English you are simply a liar if you don't agree.
I wish plebs would stop creaming themselves over the fucking Romance languages and start appreciating the poetic qualities of German.
