Interestingly, these political compasses I keep seeing floating around put the Nazis as near-centrists economically. Just more authoritarian politically. American Neo-Nazis might be a different thing. So I guess I would have to recommend Mein Kampf.

The way I see it, "centrists" are leftists who police other leftists for behaving like rightists. Rightists don't even register has human beings to the "centrists".

They were definitely not socialists in the communist sense of abolishing private property. Still, they would have had public health insurance (since Bismarck) and wouldn't have been quite "Paul Ryan" on everything (or what Europeans tend to think of America). Italian fascism, which somewhat inspired Nazism, was theoretically opposed to both communism and laissez-faire liberalism; it stressed class collaboration, or what has been called state capitalism/socialism.
