Just watched the interview with Buckley. Left me with mixed feelings about Borges. I can't tell if he actually liked what he did or if he was just catering to the tastes of those in power and those with award money, respectively the United States and Sweden.
Anyway, it has been a long time since I last read Borges.

Yeah, Calvino's great. His best books are on par with El Aleph and Book of Sand, I'd say.
