Oblivion is IV not V what the fuck

Shamelessly on its way.

You have me a hearty kek, laddie.

Why didn't you get the comfy dying grass hardcover user?

...

Uuuh, the Leopard, great choice!

just returned from the bookstore with these bad boys

Isn't this fancy YA fiction?

8/10 I like, what's the translation like on the Iliad
Dawkins really fucked his biology creditability with the fedora mems

Is that caesars biography? I got the edition about all his wars put together.

Is it a good book? Got some to finish before i start it

who cares about his useless discussions with religious people? his science books are fucking good

I like that Sophocles, I'm listening to a podcast on the Theban plays right now.

How is that edition of The Decameron? I just added that to my list a few days ago.

Forgot 'Pale Fire' by Nabokov and A tiger by the tail by Hayek.

Road to serfdom is good.

Yup.

Fucking Vollman

...

Pretty nice, user.

I didn't know there were more books to 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Thanks user

Yep, there are three others (2010, 2061 & 3001). I've heard the series decreases in quality but I enjoyed 2001 so willing to give them a go

Only seen Kubricks movie, but I did enjoy that one. Might eventually have a go at the books, after I'm done reading everything else I've already bought.

>after I'm done reading everything else I've already bought
who are you kidding user

Nothing gets past you, user.

I spent $4.50 on mine, and the Quran was free from a Muslim organisation I contacted.

Haven't heard of those books but Vollman seems interesting from the interviews I've seen.

Learn Ancient Greek! Montaigne looks good, I read some essays for my philosophy 101 course.

Never heard of The Uncanny, I'll check it out. You interested in biology?

Art student? Nice smarties.

Ubik good? I need to read PKD. I like this stack 8/10. I've been trying to read Dubliners for a few days now but always get distracted and read plays instead.

The Dying Grass is an incredible read. It's not nearly as long as it looks so don't be intimidated. I was able to finish it in 3 weeks which surprised me.

"Fancy" only because the name sounds cool so nostalgic manchildren actually feel superior to Harry Potter fans. It's hilarious, actually.

I bought Cloud Atlas last Sunday for $3, non-movie cover (never saw it either). I'm about 40% through and I am loving it!

also a beautiful edition of the saklig who fell from grave with the sea, but a friend is borrowing it

the sailor*

damned norwegian autocorrect

Picked these up yesterday for $10

That Montaigne looks fucking nice

>based ibsen-reader

how is he received on here?

I don't know about Veeky Forums in general, but I've liked him quite a lot ever since I was in a production of Peer Gynt

...

sorry

I'm on vacation in Guadalajara and while sight seeing I noticed there was a small used & antique books fair going on.

Got pic related for $5usd, it's in near-mint condition.

I can't even read Spanish, but I would have been severely tempted to buy that. That's a beautiful cover.

>Never heard of The Uncanny,

I have read other Freud like the dreams and psychoanalysis history stuff (dont remember the titles now) but I had the chance to read some of the Uncanny in a university class a few years ago. I wanted to read the whole thing. That class was pure kino though called "psychoanalysis in literature" we just read stories and analysed the characters for a semester.

>You interested in biology?

yes mostly evolution.

I'm currently with Hesse, what should I read next?

Hamlet next.

I like ibsen, A dolls house is my third favourite play.
