We have plenty of local history here. Especially during the French and Indian War. My hometown was burned to the ground, it's inhabitants driven off, and those that were captured were scalped if they were men, or taken as wife's (if not forceably raped) if they were women, whilst the children were taken from their parents and raised in the tradition of the tribe, no original language, you erase your heritage.

Also, Dachau never used its Gas chambers, and used its ovens sparingly, unlike Auschwitz. I don't know why he uses it, Dachau was relatively minor in comparison to Auschwitz-Treblinka and Buchenwald.

Dachau wasn't even a death camp or specifically for Jews, it was a camp for criminals and people deemed enemies of the state. The idea of those kind of people being put into camps and then dying there is hardly groundbreaking when looking at history. Maybe Auschwitz was too mainstream.
