Black Friday Buys

I've never read any of Ishiguro, Atwood or Pratchett. Should I get these?

Hogfather is probably not a good Pratchett book to start with, other two are good choices.

I bought shogun lol

No.

dude remains of the day is a modern classic

I enjoyed the Hogfather, Going Postal and The Colour of Magic films if it makes any difference.

Good choices. Never heard of the Pratchett one but The Remains of the Day and the Handmaid's Tale are great reads (especially the former).

I tried The Colour of Money and found it really boring. No idea why people like Pratchett. I'd love to be able to get into a long series, but never have.

>saving the thread

>the day of Christ's crucifixion
>LETS MAKE IT INTO A CONSUMERIST ORGY :D :ddd:dDDdd

Terry Pratchett is utter trash, Ishiguro is bland old lady fare, and Atwood is ok.

>Dead Souls
You know it is unfinished and ends mid sentence, right?
Truly the Dark Souls of literature.

XDDD

Not like he was real anyway.

pseuds/10

all three are two star at best, didn't finish any of them. These are remainders from Hollywood death pimping and award show speculation. Also ten pounds or euros sounds like too much money, regardless.

>participating in disgusting American consumerism

Vomit.

>Vomit.
Yum.

What the fuck are you talking about? That is not what Black Friday is

How are you finding these deals? By searching individually and being lucky?
