Which one is urgent to get to?

These are a few books I bought and just never got to. Which one should I urgently get to?

Currently I’m close to finishing “of human bondage” by w somerset maugham ( the best book I’ve read in a long time).

Thanks

I don't see Culture of Critique anywhere? You must've cropped the picture wrong

Nothing's urgent user. Read the next thing you want to read. Don't stress yourself out by looking at books as just tallies you have to tick off. Better to get into a habit of reading in relative comfort than starting with the big books and getting stuck and frustrated.

>socks and sandals
read Dead Souls, Crime and Punishment, Infinite Jest, and The Second Treatise of Government
throw away the rest pls
especially the Longfellow Inferno and Gladwell

>gets the Inferno
>doesn't just get the Divine Comedy
Why do people do this?

That said if you wanna challenge yourself go for it. Don't feel intimidated and sticking with "easy books" if you don't want. You can set yourself goals and stuff but just don't stick with them if you don't feel they're working for you user.

>no kevin maconald

jesus fuck...what were thinking when you got those strange relations of books? Probably the same thing when you thought it was okay to wear socks and birkenstocks

>Picture of Dorian Gray
>Portrait of Franz Liszt on the cover
What did they mean by this

Dante. But why would you just buy the Inferno?
After that Locke, and then Marx (should know your enemies). The rest you can toss in the trash.

I’m an open minded person with likings that could cover the whole spectrum, and I know at some point when I bought this books there was a good reason m, but it’s just been such a long time I can’t remeber why, sadly.

Was just hoping on a recc. I read for fun, but I thought maybe there’s a book here that some user thinks I should read first.

I like slow burners that have a lot of depth and substance.

Socks and sandals? So what it’s my house.

This song is the embodiment of me and the way I “think” as many of you have been asking.

Assuming they are all new to you I would go with Dante

Read Gogol first or you are a homosexual.

Why is NO ONE on Veeky Forums capable of rotating a photograph before posting it? WHY?!?!?!?

It's not exactly up there with Dostoevsky and all that, but I enjoyed Farenheit.
