where should i start? crisis of the modern world?
Rene guenon
Other urls found in this thread:
Yes.
Start with Vico,
then read Maistre,
then take a look at Ballanche,
proceed with Blanc de Saint-Bonnet,
go on with Donoso Cortés.
Don't read Guénon or Evola, they're shit.
AAAAA STOP WITH THE JIZZABELS
hmm can you explain a bit why you choise those names and why you dont think it's worth reading guenon?
Fuck your gay reactionary book
What's the insta on dat ass
Depends what your interest in him is. If purely for his politics, Crisis and then Reign of Quantity, and then whichever of his works interest you, probably his work on initiation.
If you specifically want him for his trad stuff, Hindu Doctrines and Man and his Becoming, then the rest as normal.
don't search for that user. don't fap. hide the vile jezzebels and go read a book.
this, give source on semen demons
i'm not really interested in politics at all
then dont vote
No, start with 'an introduction to the study of the hindu doctrines'
Ironic
i dont vote
this
Because they're the real Traditionalists
Guénon is a shit-tier occultist that named his stuff Traditionalism, yet it is all but that.
It's full of lieux-communs that you can find in a lot of earlier authors.
Also, masonic scumbag, converted to sufism to marry a girl, which is subhuman-tier.
He had a camel face too.
i was starting to think something was fishy about a guy Veeky Forums seemed to universally respect
STOP JEZEBEL. POSTING
i like this one though it's s'cute
reads wikipedia ONCE
>*reads only Guénon*
>wow t r a d i s h u n i feel u n l i g h t e n d t
>i love mahometan sodomites sects now
>b-but i hate theosophy !
Just read him and shut up
butthurt, go back reading your Evola and Schuon l o l
Just go read something, back to school
shit-tier banter
Guenon thinks like a mathematician, so you have to keep going, he takes his time
Wouldn't know a unique thought with f&$ your ass
No, read Introduction to the Hindu doctrines like other anons said. It's not only about hindu doctrines, actually that's only the second half of the book.
then what, what's the credited order?
Not sure. You could just get 'the essential rene guenon'
someone name this skeet efreeti (right)
amandacoxrox
this autist encore

Encore ce jeune foutriquet pour me répondre.
>Vico
Doesn't get enough attention. Nicely done user, you're alright.
What is the (chronological) age of the girl on the right? Just wondering.
>akshually theosophy doesn’t real
GENIUS
tu ne crains donc pas le retour d'Isikqukqumadevu, toi?
user, is the crisis of the modern world that you can't get laid?
Your ilk ruins this board
Archive.org has free pdfs of some 20 translated works of his in chronological order.
Starting with 'Indroduction to the Hindu Doctrines' is a must. 'East and West' further goes over point he made about western vs eastern cultures in 'Intro' and can be skipped if you feel you got it in that one.
The correct order to read his mainly metaphysical works are 1. Introduction to hindu doctrines 2. Man and his becoming according to the Vedanta 3. The symbolism of the cross 4. The multiple states of being
Most of his work is more or less metaphysical but these 4 are heavily metaphysical and are built upon one another.
The rest of his stuff can be read in any order but it's helpful to read the stuff he wrote earlier first because in his later books he references them.
forgot link
thanks user. i assume you recommend?
Yeah he's phenomenal
>d-don’t read Theosophy ok?
>convert to Catholic Monarchism
>then become a muzzie

It's pics like these that assure me I'm wasting my youth.
Read 'em if you're curious, OP, but I read de Maistre and the first thing that comes to mind when I think of him is the old anti-Goldwater slogan, "In your guts, you know he's nuts."
