I head once he said that some christian priests in the wild west used to do magic tricks (card tricks, stuff like that), to get people interested and then later they would do their actual serious preaching. I am in the middle of a degree at a technical school. Was doing computer science at a University but halfway through decided it wasn't for me.

Smarter or not, he can speak English, French and German quite well which already makes him superior to me and, I'm pretty sure, most here.

While I think he has his pleb moments (mostly based on some Lacanian exagerations), he's still a great philosopher with a lot of useful stuff to say.
