hi Veeky Forums

I'm founding a religion and I have a 75 page document as part of the foundation

does anybody know of some good publishers that I can send my manuscript to?

for context, it's called xyogism and these are the chapter titles in the decretum:

1 Introduction to Xyogism 5
2 The Individual, The Body, and The Mind 7
3 The Nature of Free Will, Being, and Consciousness 11
4 Welcome to the Xyogic Individuus Age 15
5 The Evolution of The Xyogist
6 On Minds
7 Creating a Powerful Body
8 The Nature of Truth
9 The Catena of Being
10 Beings and The Xyogist
11 On Justice
12 Everyday Xyogism
13 Acknowledgements

anyway if you could give me some good publisher recommendations who are into this type of stuff that would be great

thanks

You forgot the chapter on killing yourself

Is this satire

Give me a tl;dr on your religion op, I've recently realised Aquinas is a hack and am looking for a change after falling for the Catholicism meme. I think it would be good to get in on the ground floor of something - I could go down in history as a disciple or some shit.

depends, how do you pronounce it?

zy-goh-ism
eks-y-go-ism
khi-o-ism
???

The 3 Xyogic Axioms:
- Axiom of Being: Free will necessitates consciousness.
- Axiom of Immortality: It is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious.
- Axiom of Power: Every individual is the most Powerful entity in their reality.

The 8 Xyogic Principles:
- Principle of Wholeness: With control there is an infinite—in Power there is One.
- Principle of Time Relativity: An individual perceives the passage of Time relative to how much Time he has experienced.
- Principle of Agoya: An individual’s knowledge is equal to his Power.
- Principle of Singularity: An individual’s birth and Death are One and the same.
- Principle of Intimacy: An individual’s capability to experience positive meaning is bounded by his capacity to sacrifice and/or su↵er.
- Principle of Intelligence: An individual can change his genome with his Mind.
- Principle of Strength: Health is the only true good.
- Principle of Nescience: Ignorance is the only true Evil.

zoe- giz- um

So it's like a gay version of hermeticism

This is a really watered down hermetic practice. . . this is as though you wrapped up hermeticism in some packing peanuts, tied it with toilet paper and broken bandaids, and sat it on the shelves of walmart's literature shelves

>- Axiom of Being: Free will necessitates consciousness.
>not accounting for non-deterministic unconscious systems
Stopped reading right there desu

good use of metaphor

but yeah it's kind of like practical hermeticism I suppose

here are the commandments basically:

The 7 Tenets of Xyogism:
1. I will create strength through the Agoyic physical practice.
2. I will create health through the Agoyic diet.
3. I will create Life through the artistic process.
4. I will create Power through sacrifice.
5. I will create change through observation.
6. I will create freedom through Truth.
7. I will create Love through transcendence.

yeah I mean those wouldn't be in the Xyogist's domain of control so they're not really worth his Time to focus on

anyway do any of you have publisher suggestions????

(You)

>wouldn't be in the Xyogist's domain of control
>being so cucked you don't even aspire to assert mastery over chaos itself
that's even more pathetic than prostrating oneself before a higher power senpai

Youre finding a cult.

Get off it, heathen.

no u

Gay Kybalion rip-off. Unless you have some ritual magic catered specifically for you in this, it's pointless.

>"""axioms""" are highly subjective, vague, near-meaningless shit
ew

...

isn't that the idea of an axiom?

a starting assumption that is vague and subjective?

I already tried /x/

the entire point is that I wanted publishers, not feedback on the religion

Nothing more?

The name is shitty. No publisher will publish it if you don’t have a following first.

Have you read The Foundation for Exploration?

I mean how are you supposed to get a following if nobody publishes your manuscript lol

Your book isn't nearly long enough to give philosophers something to work with so that they themselves can turn it into a religion of extreme philosophical depth.

>Axiom of Immortality: It is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious.
How does this prove immortality? Who do you think know dead people are conscious of being unconscious

>what is a theory of mind?

I see this mistake a lot. Religious people aren't actually looking for rules of life to live by or moral and ethical guidance. Religion has more to do with a sense of community and peace.

If you want your religion to become popular make great art not great philosophy.
