Pictures like this remind me of my childhood in the 1990s. Whenever I would go by a building in a remote place it would give me the same mysterious, melancholic yet happiness-tinged feeling; as if the scene had been dropped out of another world. Are these impressions lost in the post-2010 world of globalization, instant connectivity and smart phones, or merely as a result of exiting youth? I'm not sure.
