So, I just finished Mindhunter, this Netflix series about serial killers and how the FBI learned how to recognize this new kind of killer. What I really liked in this series was the focus in criminal psychology, the questions about why we kill our own species or the nature of evil. Do we born with a predisposition to be evil or is society or the state that make it with us?
Anyway, I would like more books that deals with this kind of dualism, this question about the evil that we can do.
So, I just finished Mindhunter...
He’s holding it the wrong way.
It is a juxtaposition of a tool being used in all the wrong ways.
by committing murder he is stabbing himself in the back
There are two cups. It is betrayal and vulnerability. One would want to say power, but it is cowardice.
It's easier to bludgeon than cut someone to death you stupid fuck the whole point of an axe cut is the head weight anyway
No. Read "The Ax Book".
Hey, this thread seems to be related to television and film!
Perhaps you would have a more interesting conversation on Veeky Forums's /tv/ board!
Jesus Christ. If I knew you were going to talk about about the guy's right way to hold the ax, I would put another image..
Yeah but I'm asking for books recommendations. That's why I put the image about crime and punishement, because I think that's a book that talks about this themes. I want more books, that deals with these same themes.
You illiterate fuck how have you not read dostoevsky
Nah if its an old woman with weak skull he is best off using the blade to split her skull open, killing her instantly. Bludgeoning might only knock her out, plus it is harder to aim.
You are the ax man.
Gross, this thread has slipped out of the pataphor.
Re--, Really?? I mean, I suspected but...
I need some time to think about it.
God.
The ax man!
That's what I'm talking about. It was supposed to be a normal thread, but because of a single image, everything went downhill.
Hey guys, I have a big forehead but I wrote a few books. Feel free to check em out on the cyber space
Oh, on the contrary, the image is the only thing on topic.
You do realise Mindhunter was a book right? You could read that.
>old woman with weak skull
>Bludgeoning might only knock her out
which is it?
Raskolnikov knocks her down and keeps hitting her a few more times once she's on the ground, if I don't misremember. Bitch is hella dead
This is how he kills her in the novel, the image is just depicting the scene as it was written.
