Philosophy is such shit. "Oh...

Philosophy is such shit. "Oh, here is some subjective or unprovable shit that you have to treat like axioms to understand my world view, enjoy!" That's literally everything any author is doing when going "deep". Don't get me wrong, I admire concepts that were created by philosophers (and then refined by philosophical academics), they help us to think about this world. My problem is with pretentious anti-intellectual garbage philosophers try to construct of the concepts. Like, dude, you can only know shit through empirical evidence or pretend to know for sure when something else is the closest you can get to the state of a certain fact.

I file it in the feedback box for you

This sounds to me like you enjoy some branches of Philosophy while disliking others and this is perfectly normal. Just like a mathematican may dislike physics, or a physician dislikes higher math, Philosophy too takes very different directions, some of which are more abstract. But just like math and physics can work together to create, so too can, for example, state philosophy and ethical or moral philosophy, work together, to create a system of ideas that influence our world, although they were first brought into our world as an abstract concept or logical system.

Who's the bigger thot, Cardi or Nicki?
What's your definition of a thot?

Here's a thing. When math works with physics, in the end the abstract concepts are tied to reality, and describe them. That's the part of philosophy I am okay with -- tied to reality. But most philosophy is about misusing concepts to create a bigger picture that's bullshit.

Do you not like mathematics?

Clanders philosophical enquiry for:
>"Oh, here is some subjective or unprovable shit that you have to treat like axioms to understand my world view, enjoy!"

Then is all like:
>Like, dude, you can only know shit through empirical evidence

My definition of a thot is a woman who thinks having multiple partners is all right if she is already in an exclusive relationship while deceiving her partner, and is very likely to act on this thought. I don't care which of them is "thottiest" since there's no gradation.

I like math a lot. It's pure, it's logical. Unlike most philosophy that's built on assumptions.

But mathematical axioms are assumptions
