Is there a legit happy literature chart ?

Is there a legit happy literature chart ?
If not what would put in it ?

Happiness is a meme

What is not at this point ?

LOL, you've never read any of these? Just read the titles.

Try again my friend, I asked if is there a legit happy literature chart not that what I posted is one

I don't think there is one, no, but I'd be very interested in seeing one.

... honestly, I'm having trouble coming up with one book that would even be on it. Dickens' A Christmas Carol, maybe. Don Quixote, arguably. The Brothers Karamozov?

and so we are looking for literature to define this meme...

>happiness
Let me guess, you're American?

Romanian my dude. We really need some hope in our lives

I found this after a long and exhausting internet research (i.e. eight seconds in the Veeky Forums-wiki).

>Let me guess, you're American?
Where are you from, faggot?

>Humor

>Catch-22
>happy
"I'm cold," said Snowden.

Elaborate.

Elaborate what ?
I asked for happy literature and you posted a chart with Kafka and Toole .

And that makes the wohle chart invalid?

Humor isn't necessarily happy and positive

OP should read I Am A Cat

>Only Americans care about happiness
What

Hesse and Tolstoy should definitely be on it. Mark Twain too maybe?

Is it just me or did they pick the worst covers for almost every book?

The Bible
Odyssey
Divine Comedy
That's just to start you off.

This. I say we should do a proper chart.

The top row is especially bad save for Catch-22

where are the snowdens of yesteryear

this has enough happiness and life-affirmation to coast off of for a couple of years

"happy" is a stupid idea for a chart but id be really fucking into a "positive" chart, in the philosophical sense

should include Tournier's Friday, Hrabal's Harlequin's Millions, Schulz's Street of Crocodiles, Whitman's Leaves of Grass etc.

u got 1/3 right
