I had to take one english course for my general ed and I had a black professor that had us read Middlesex. That is where I was introduced to the concepts of "cisgendered" and so on.

Just sat with my prof for an hour in her office. Weird as fuck. Now I'm in writing class listening to know nothing liberal arts fuckheads who can't let a lecture run interrupted.

I had a female English prof who was pretty autistic. She was awkward and couldn't spell worth shit but she fostered some decent discussion in the class. definitely more intelligent than my soyboy history prof

>College
Either Amerikkkan or some gypo who recently migrated to Bongland to get into uni. Either way, fuck off my Australian JIDF forum. REEEE, ad infinitum

American Lit teacher was pretty dope. We read Melville and Delillo and had some decent discussions. Probably the most enthusiatic ive ever seen a lady reharding Moby Dick. Otherwise there was a dope British theatre class with a borderline gay teacher (was cool tho) and a terrible short story class with haggard old bitch you kept singling out the only black kid in the class to see what his opinions were.

All stupid, useless, and academically irrelevant (not even in the typical "misses the point entirely/slave to the dominant ideology of intellgensia" way, just like straight up failures in the specialized fields and havent written anything resembling sustained thought since their dissertations). Only one is worth a damn, and she hasen't published much. I can tell she's really satisfied with being able to keep up with the latest New Yorker issue while also making the occasional sly remark about how people in the south still use gendered language. Up Virginia Woolf's ass so needless to say I dismissed her from day one. Wrote me a great letter of recommendation tho.

It's your own fucking fault for being stupid enough to imagine you could actually learn literature in college.

There are about 1 billion red flags, the most apparent of which is the fact that you're supposed to shell out thousands of dollars for tuition credit when often times the same exact professor has free lectures on Youtube and books you could check out and read for free, and a syllabus/reading list in the public fucking domain, and no security guard at the front of the class to check for enrollment, all of which clearly indicates college is an elitist system that produces and perpetuates class lines.

I'll post the ones I can remember...

Junior year
>used to weigh 280 lbs, cut down to 140 just by counting calories
>tried to be super inspiring every day
>taught me basic composition

Senior year
>60 year old man
>huge pot head, everyone smelled it
>always showed up late
>he always called me by his sons name (wtf)
>one day during Beowulf, he turned up with a guitar and he played a tune while he recited the entire thing up until Grendel's mom in old English
>then he played the entirety of The Wall by Pink Floyd in the same class
>another teacher called during class to wish him happy birthday
>he teared up
>awesome and genuine man, played upright bass with a traveling symphony
>very kind and could talk to anyone about anything for hours

Freshman year of college
>35 year old single and attractive dude
>confident and knowledgeable demeanor
>he also sponsored the university's boxing club
>we find out he lives with his mom

Other than those little notes, they were all fine people, fine classes, easy enough, etc. No complaints.

>actually learn
