Jenna jameson how to make love like a pornstar. She uses a ghostwrighter thought.

Beautifull twentysomethings, Marek HÅ‚asko, but it's hard to tell witch parts are fiction.

I really liked Norm MacDonald's book, but it's mostly just fiction

Joseph Frank's Dostoevsky is the GOAT

Unironically Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson if you have even a passing interest in technology.

I've read about 20 Penguin shorts, all of them good.

I want to read the Pentti Linkola biography but I can't read that meme language.

Marquis de Sade
Yukio Mishima
Stirner's by that faggot

Thomas Mann and Eros

Does anybody know a good biography of Caesar?

I really enjoyed Ron Chernow's Washington, Meacham's Jefferson, McCullough's Adams, Rice's Richard Burton, Everitt's Cicero, and Isaacson's Da Vinci
Philip Freeman's is pretty good

Vitoux's biography of LF Celine was maybe a little overly meticulous but I think a must-read for fans of his work.

Has anyone read that Lou Reed biography that came out last year?

John Lydon's Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs. It's a must read if you're a fan of punk music. Anger Is An Energy: My Life Uncensored is also pretty good but I would only recommend it to people who are really interested in John Lydon and/or Public Image Ltd. (a.k.a. PiL).

What's the best translation of my struggle ?

Stalag edition is the party-endorsed English translation. Ford translation is also good.

Which Stalin biographies should I read? Is Trotsky's any good?

Really?

>trotsky's
no
Montefiore is most entertaining. Kotkin's is most recent/best researched.

what's the best biography of cecil rhodes???

So what's wrong with Trotsky's? Is it boring? Badly written? Full of lies? I want a Stalin biography that's entertaining and accurate.

Inaccurate. Montefiore is the most entertaining while still being accurate.

Nikola Tesla's autobiography was pretty nice.

Feynman. Guy had one of the most interested lives in history.

Augustine's Confessions
Beethoven (but I don't remember which one I read, I got it from the library a long time ago)

Thanks

I've written 5 biographies of people who never existed. I purposefully made them very boring too. No idea what I'm fucking doing with my life.

Perhaps youre becoming a better writer. I would imagine boring biographies are tougher to write than eventful ones. Whethet b8 or not this post brought Walter Pater's Imaginary Portraits to mind. But of course most novels are just that, biographies of imaginary persons

I read Richard Feynman's Autobiography and it could even keep me engaged at the height of my adhd riddled adolescence because that guy lived the ever-loving shit out of life.

Borges is smiling upon you.

Ozzy Ousbourne's, if you're not a little faggot.

Semi related: What's the best book by/about Bill Clinton?

You'd do just as well to read complete fiction (or watch House of Cards) than read any "Biography" about a member of the Clinton family.

Good book about Tolstoy?

read plutarch's lives, anyone that hasn't can't claim to be patrician

Forgotten soldier by guy sajer.

What are some books that will make me want to go out and get a life? Pic related.
