starship troopers?
the movie is a razor sharp biting satire of fascism, but the book seems played 100% straight.

Whatever your ethnic heritage is look up the best works of the language that corresponds

The World of Yesterday by Stefan Zweig.

dropped

For My Legionaries, by CZ Codreanu

>Now Nietzsche opposed both the moderate and the extreme left, but he saw that conservatism had no future, that its fighting was a rear guard action, and conservatism was being eroded evermore. The consequence of this was that Nietzsche pointed to something which we may call the revolutionary right, an atheism of the right. Nietzsche is then the antagonist of Marx, whom he did not know at all as far as I know. Nietzsche produced the climate in which Fascism and Hitlerism could emerge. One must not be squeamish about admitting this dubious paternity. One must emphasize it. Every fool can see and has seen that Nietzsche abhorred the things for which Hitler in particular stood and to which he owed his success. Some liberals have gone so far as to claim Nietzsche for liberalism. Was Nietzsche not the intellectual ancestor of that great liberal, Sigmund Freud? This partial truth [however] must not be permitted to obscure the more massive and the more superficial fact which I have tried to point out.

You’re a brainlet. I’m sorry you had to find out on Veeky Forums.

Is the book satirical too? I haven't read it since I was an edgy kid and my memories of it are dim.

>the movie is a razor sharp biting satire of fascism
This is why I called you a brainlet. It’s not. ‘Razor sharp biting satire’? Really? I have no idea how you could believe this. I can’t think of any scenes ‘cause I haven’t seen it in years, but I remember it being high schooler tier. The book is great and nothing like the movie, though you probably wouldn’t like it since you’re a Redditor.

>(((leo strauss)))

Not that guy, but Verhoeven is a genius satirist. You lack genes.

This user, , is right. ‘Leo Strauss’ sounds like a Jew name and, as wel all know, Jews can’t be trusted.

I think you and I have different definitions of the word ‘satire’.

oh, you're just a moron. Carry on then.

All my white friends are doing it

>this user is right
babbys first persuasion?

anyway the only convincing case that nietzsche wasnt proto-fascist consists in making nietzsche into a super-fascist
>During the interbellum years, certain Nazis had employed a highly selective reading of Nietzsche's work to advance their ideology, notably Alfred Baeumler, who strikingly omitted the fact of Nietzsche's anti-socialism and anti-nationalism
