The most famous Canadian poem is this, what do you think of it anons. Looking back on it, it's probably the first poem I ever read:

Having heard this every Remembrance Day (usually read by a 7-9th grade student in cadets, but also a few adults) I have found that it makes for an awkward read when said aloud; there seems to be some kind of dissonance whenever someone says the line 'In Flanders Fields' that has always come off as quite jarring for me.

I also agree with Leonard Cohen as I think many would, since I literally can't think of another note-worthy Canadian poet. Sort of how all we really have for literature is Margaret Atwood, William Gibson, and Mordecai Richler which isn't saying much.

My country (Ukraine) exists for 26 year, so your question doesn't make sense. If I choose from those who originated from the area of modern Ukraine, it will be Anna Akhmatova (who wrote in Russian) and Taras Shevchenko (who wrote in Ukrainian).

That is debatable. Pessoa was also really good. But yeah, Camões set the tone of Portuguese Poetry. Although Pessoa was more influenced by Anglo-Saxonic poetry
