Fuck off back to /pol/. Start with the Greeks and learn to think for yourself rather than looking for ideological pornography to feed an idea you've already accepted because you think it sounds cool.

Don't know about libertarian, but Sloterdijk is alright.

Why do you want to read capitalist books? We literally live in a capitalist world. Just look out your window or get a wage-slave job.

What the fuck are you talking about you fucking inbred. Governemnt is always fucking cancer and call me a piece of shit but I dont want my money going to help some drug addict or disabled person like you. Id rather do what I want with it. Does that bother you? Because my beleifs arent yours im a blind follower of an ideology? No faggot I dont have my own tern for my beleifs because my ego isnt large enough but I beleive in the core principles of buy what you want and do what you want

No its not capitalist enough, my money i work for goes to the lazy and disabled. I dont want to put myself through the rigorous torture that is reading communist or socialist literature

the book of letting factory owners fuck your wife by ann rand

>No its not capitalist enough, my money i work for goes to the lazy and disabled. I dont want to put myself through the rigorous torture that is reading communist or socialist literature
I'm sure you're young. Just know that the capitalists don't give a shit about you. You are a peasant to them and they will get rid of you as soon as you aren't making them enough money. You are nothing more than a work-horse. When you're willing to entertain new world views just know that there are alternates to capitalism that aren't communism (not that you understand what that is).

Marx literally wrote the book on Capitalism

Hans-Hermann Hoppe - Democracy The God That Failed

Monarchy lol

Fuck you Im not in life to have other assholes give a shit about me and I dont gove a shit about other assholes. Only one thing matters and thats money. If becoming wealthy is an impossible task for you than no wonder youre a socialist faggot

How could you hate the rich when they are what you should strive to be

lol cuck

>t.

>The ideas of the ruling class are in every epoch the ruling ideas.
>The class which has the means of material production at its disposal, has control at the same time over the means of mental production, so that generally speaking, the ideas of those who lack the means of mental production are subject to it.

Mein gott...

>striving to be rich

Don't be like this geek, read a motherfucking Greek

Right reading old Greeks will change everything because they are off the utmost intelligence when it comes to 21st century money and economics. Nice meme. Im not going to suddenly not want to be successful, nor should anyone. Ideas are nice, results and power are better.

There will always be those in control and those who need to be controled. There can not and never be a worker ruling class

Are you a sociopath?

Could you explain how I'm a sociopath.

No, he's shitpost baiting.

The year doesn't really matter. Individuals practiced excessive wealth acquisition in the fourth century BC. If you want more than enough to live comfortably, you're deluded.

Further, you're confusing power with force. Force applies to acts, power to conditions. Power exists solely as an idea.

No I just don't get how nobody can actually explain what's wrong with any of this. Its either tired old lines or just memes, I doubt the majority of people on this board can explain why their ideology is great but mine is laughable

I want live comfortably but the only way you can get true force is with money. And why not live better than those with less? You have to establish that you're not one of them

>SUCCESS
>BE SUCCESSFUL
>INSPIRATION QUOTE
>BE HAPPY
>SUCCESS IS BEST
>WAGE SLAVE SUCCESS
>TRY TO CONVINCE MYSELF LIFE HAS MEANING
>CAREER SUCCESS
>WEALTH

cringe

Life has no meaning but I'll be goddamned if I won't try to be the richest asshole I can be

Fuck you're right I'll just be a poorfag instead

No, you get power with money. But, like I said, if you want that sort of power, you're doing yourself a disservice. That sort of power is, in fact, more of a hindrance to contemplation than it is anything else.

I care more about power and wealth than contemplation. Would I be wise with contemplation? Sure but that lends me to speak with other intelligent people, whereass power and money translate anywhere.

If that's all you think wisdom is good for, you need to contemplate harder. And, seriously, read a Greek or two. It's not entirely a meme.

And what would a Greek get me? It seems like a bunch of nothing

Nah he is an American . I doubt he genuinely wanted to look for book anyway

No I wanted to look for books but it seems nobody knows about them here

cringe

You serioously don't get why no regulation in whatsoever in capitalism is bad? Wew. Here's a bit of Chomsky: youtube.com/watch?v=RxPUvQZ3rcQ
Capitalism simply wouldn't be capitalism without the state. If there's no central authority, any tyrant can just do whatever they want. And even with regulation, it doesn't really work, since the state is manipulated and depends on large corporations and vice versa. Just look at bailouts and such. And who would make important decisions about society? I wouldn't be surprised that everyone would behaved like a bunch of tribes and fight for territory.

You don't have to praise capitalism if you don't want to be poor. Nobody wants to live on the street. The only difference is that socialists don't want anyone to be on the street while capitalists just care about their own status. Look at incarseration rates in the USA. They have no rights and are worked like slaves (prisons are private btw and can extend the punishment whenever they want). Look at how many homeless and poor people they have for such a prosperous nation. If the richest people in the USA gave just a bit of their fortune to them, they would at least have a place to live. However, the problem wouldn't be averted since there's simply no place for them in todays society. "Just work hard and you won't be poor." It doesn't work that way. A lot of low requirement jobs are vanishing. How do you get a job if you don't even have the money to pay for your education? It's just the matter of time before self driving cars become a thing and a few million jobs just vanish. What will those people do? Fix those cars? With what education? And the amount of waste capitalism produces... There are fucking mountains of trash just being burried so that people don't have to look at it. It's no different than throwing shit on the streets in the middle ages. I don't know what else to fucking write in this shit structured post. Read a fucking book.

Right but if I can do well why should I care about other people? And I don't care about waste. Oh big deal there's trash maybe those hobos can do somethinf with it

(me)
Read Chompsky(Profit Over People: Neoliberalism and Global Order, Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media or literally any other book), read Zizek (start with the sublime object of ideology and then read any other of his shit), read Sloterdijk (he's a capitalist but makes very good points as to why it is shit)

Because there are no good capitalist/libertarian books :^)

Probably because Capitalists do Socialists dream

>Right but if I can do well why should I care about other people?
This is why they called you a sociopath.

>Oh big deal there's trash maybe those hobos can do somethinf with it
This has to be bait. What should they do? They don't have a damn factory for processing that stuff. And why would they even be needed in a mostly automated factory?

So where are all their good books?

Machinery of Freedom by David Friedman

Dregs are dregs for a reason. You can throw them in state paid schools and they can still come out retards.

Holy fucking shit can you commie basement dwellers stopping being autistic and give him some suggestions

No

Yes, if you lick the boot long enough you'll get to wear it, good goy

Non meme answer, read Weber of you want some insights into capitalist bureaucracy and how it came to be

The funny thing is this thread has 15 posters including me, OP, and several others actually popping in to give a suggestion. It's blatantly obvious it's just two or three tards trying to do god knows what shilling their shitty ideology on an utterly irrelevant image board

>user is shocked to find ideological shitposting in an ideological thread

He asked for a simple recommendation. Keep your fucking autism in check.

And judging by his subsequent responses he isn't asking in good faith. It was a loaded thread to begin with.

Le avventure di Cipollino.

It seems like nobody wants to give you an actual answer. I'm not sure how knowledgeable you are about libertarianism or economics but I'll give give some suggestions. The two disciplines which most strongly underpin the ideology of typical right-libertarianism are economics and ethics.

Some more philosophical suggestions:
>The Problem of Political Authority - Michael Huemer
>The Ethics of Liberty - Murray Rothbard
>Anarchy, State and Utopia - Robert Nozick
>Second Treatise of Government - John Locke

Economics in order of increasing difficulty
>I Pencil - Read
>Economics in One Lesson - Hazlitt
>Essential Economics - Ballve
>What has Government Done to Our Money - Rothbard
>Choice- Bob Murphy (if you want the short version of human action)
>Man, Economy and State (with Power and Market)- Rothbard
>Human Action- Mises
and if you prefer Hayekian operationalism:
>The Counter-Revolution of Science: Studies on the Abuse of Reason - F.A Hayek

The Deficancies and Illegitimacy of the state:
>The Law - Bastiat
>The Right and Wrong of Compulsion by the State - Auberon Herbert
>The Consitution of no Authority - Spooner
>The Anatomy of the State - Rothbard
>The Myth of National Defense - Hoppe

Politics
>Democracy the God that Failed - Hans-Hermann Hoppe

>We the Living (Not read by most but recommended in libertarian circles)
>The Fountianhead
>Atlas Shrugged
>The Moon is a Harsh Mistress - Heinlein
>Snow Crash - Stephenson
>Time Will Run Back - Hazlitt

>call me a piece of shit but I dont want my money going to help some drug addict or disabled person like you
>all contributing to society is supporting drug users and the disabled and therefore wrong
not just a piece of shit, but also a child.

>too much sugar in diet
>not enough books in house

Very good list, I'd like to add a list:
Law
>Law's Order - David Friedman
>Chaos Theory - Bob Murphy
>Against Intellectual Property - Kinsella
>Private Governance - Ed Stringham

I also think Thaddeus Russell's A Renegade History, and Arthur Herman's The Idea of Decline in Western History should be added to the history list
