There is nothing more zen than shiny hunting in Pokemon.

If you are a man it is the book that will move you the most.

Current stack, but still got like three times as much on my shelf...

I don’t mean to sound whiny guys but don’t you miss when games had manuals that felt like books, it’s a real shame I think because now all we get is some sort of code to redeem and a shitty safety warning amirite?

Is this a good edition for Paradise Lost?

I'm looking to buy a copy myself but not sure what's the best edition

I agree, I miss hefty game manuals too

The Bible, always in the stack though I don't read it as often as I should.
Wilhelm Meister
Some Poertry books I browse sporadically
The Prose Edda
Couple of comic book
A folklore collection

Cátedra’s. I read cátedra’s version of C&P too and I thought it was fine. They have a lot of footnotes regarding some choices in the translation, historical context, etc.
My greatest achievement is not being an amerimutt

found these in a second hand bookshop the other day

"The..." is my favorite book ever

why the fuck are you reading Isabel Allende?

why are french spines so patrician?

vi borde ta en bira

Min broder.

I don't get 'stack threads', when I want to read a book I take one of my shelf and put it back when I'm finished. I don't have these stacks.

this

this but unironically

it's like reading a latin american john green or some shit

Some people keep unread books in a stack and only place them in the bookshelf once they're read.

Read Zarathustra, then Gravitys Rainbow. Read Karamazov last, it's shit

I wasn't being ironic.

>Norm
patrician tier

I thought these threads were about recently purchased books.

Okay DFW

It's about books you recently purchased. Are you mentally challenged?

Who is your favorite Homer translator? I like Fagles.

Its about posting what you just got or are about to read so people who have read them can tell you something about it or ask something about it

...

what edition of IJ is on the top?

year one is great, for the rest of that shit you seriously need to reconsider your life, you're the typa nigga whose favorite artist is banksy

Currently rereading King Lear for my dissertation. Also reading "The Golden Notebook" by Doris Lessing, but that's on a Kindle.

I'm wondering what should I resd next. Perhaps will finish the first volume of the Complete Works of Octavio Paz.

The thesaurus is the only good thing in that pic

Selected writings of kirkegaard

The Norton Critical Edition is the best one. Not too expensive if you get it from bookdepository

got these today for $2

It's one of those "and other stories" collections, Shocken Books did it for his 100th birthday in '83. (Old people yard sales have great Veeky Forums sometimes).

>Wealth of Nations without Kapital

>Steppenwolf
Mein Bruder.

Blood Meridian is an insanely good read

post yours bitch

Cátedra es muy buena editorial. Hay que saber elegir libros entre su su catálogo. Tienen la mejor edición, traducción y aparato crítico de algunos libros, pero de otros son regulares.

3/10, the Greek's early work is just bronze age barbarism and doesn't really get good till Herodotus.

>leyendo en traslación
Sientes orgulloso de eso?

Pas mal du tout...bien que les livres folio sont moche 7/10

10/10 would sit next to on the bus

Highschool/10, cheers on the Bulgakov though

Meh

>traslación
kek. Hay varias traducciones también en tu foto. Estás orgulloso de eso? :^)

Le stack is much diminished due to the new baby. He's nursing now so I have a free moment. Why am I browsing Veeky Forums again?

was going to say something really mean but you have The Worker so whatever

>the Greek's early work is just bronze age barbarism and doesn't really get good till Herodotus.

I'm going to get torn to pieces but:

Mistborn: The Final Empire
It
Dagon
Sabriel
