There are many different ethnic groups under the ubrella catagory would consider "black". Using "black" as a catagory of race is not meaningful.

As a psychologist I can tell you IQ is a very good measure of what it's made to do. The only issue is idiots reading popsci articles and thinking that IQ is some linear scale of absolute intelligence which no psychologist has ever claimed. It's otherwise a very good indicator of mental faculties.
