Did Joseph ever sined? Reading through Genesis it doesn't seem like it.I thought all main people in the bible sined at some point except Jesus and Mary

He was kinda a prideful cunt if memory serves

I'm sure he masturbated at some point

>prideful cunt
How? He only mentions that he had a dream in which he would rule over anyone. The closest thing to a sin was when he told his father that his brother was doing a bad job, which he was.

Are there any good books on based Joseph?

The carpenter I mean not the Egypt one.

We have no place in telling if someone has sined or not, only God can do that.

I guess. But Joseph is the first person in the bible that is totally flawless. He is chaste, obedient to his father, forgiveful and saved the israelites and egyptians from starvation. Only Daniel,Mary and Jesus have such a virtous behaviour

>sined
STOP STOP STOP THIS RIGHT NOW YOU FUCKERS

Well and John the baptist

Sine waves sound comfy

>Mary
>without sin
stupid cuckolic

>Questioning bible canon in a bible discuasion
Ok user

Did I cosined? You tell me. My waves are exactly antithetical to the sine waves from Joseph.

>tfw not clever enough to make a joke about Noah and arcs

>This thread

You can inherit sins and he's a descendent of Eve.

Wasn't Enoch so based that he didn't even die and just got whisked into heaven?

U serious m8? Joseph and his brothers

Only Catholics believe in immaculate conception. Not even orthobros accept that

>“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
>35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.”
>38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
If you can find me in any gospel anything that points to Mary sinning other than some vague quote that goes nowhere please point it to me.

Which Enoch? There are like 3 in the Bible

I have no idea how that implies sinlessness but that's sounds like an ecumenical matter

He committed some of the worst sins ever committed in the Bible: he led a communist takeover of Egypt: youtube.com/watch?v=UjY9fpSb3G0

Found it, Genesis 5:24

>And Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him

>Pastor
Inmediatly closed the video. American evangelist are pure cringe

The relation between humans and God change a lot after the flood which is interesting. There are other characters as Melchizedek that also seem free of sin,but there is no much info about them

Whatever brainlet. He actually addresses OP's question very well.

How? Throwing a buzzword like communism doesn't make what Joseph made a sin. Slavery wasn't banned back then so the pharaoph owning all Egyptians is not morally wrong by bible canon. Managing resources to avoid a famane is not a sin even if it resembles socialism or some other buzzword

Acts 4:20 and Plato's Republic.

Socialism is divine.

Communism is inherently anti-God though, it's an atheist stance. Learn the difference between communism and socialism and tell that pastor to do the same.

I heard St. Simonism mentioned on here the other day. Yeah, socialism is inherently good and divine, even. A perfect society would be socialist, with a divine king of some sort.

But people sin, so we can't have our republic.

Orthodox don't believe in Original Sin so the point is mute

Acts 4:20 is not making it a general rule to be communist: that was about pooling resources to kickstart building the church.

>the point is mute

I cannot believe I'm reading this.

5/10

He Rothschilded the entire nation of Egypt. Even secular historians noticed a sudden transfer of wealth and land from the people of Egypt to the Pharaoh. He helped impoverish and enslave the entire nation.

>I thought all main people in the bible sined at some point except Jesus and Mary

That's the Christian perspective where they have a completly different standard and concept for sinning. In the Old testament sin works differently and it's possible to lead a sinless life. There are also many things that Christians would consider sins that the Old Testament would not (for instance there are no 'sinful thoughts' in the old testament. Only actions can be sinful). And it's caused by entirly different things and forgiven by entirly different means (sin can be washed away just by the passage of time, by your family or community, or be doing good acts).

Christianity based it's entire religion around the death of Jesus and decided the interpretion was he was a human sacrifice for sin. Which basically means if no one sins than than he died for nothing. Ergo everyone must be a filthy dirty sinner in need of redemption.

It was about how people who were divinely inspired would have organized themselves.

Most of the times it is a socialist sort of utopia like Acts 4:20 where all property is held in common. It is very antithetical to what you would see in the Judaic Old Testament Commandments of not stealing.

However, it is very conducive to what you would see in the Koran, exhorting the people to let the homeless dine with them, and telling the people to give often.

Clearly our God understands the fundamental cornerstone of how society is organized, and is yet kind. He is a good God, that loves, and wants to be loved. Nothing more could be said to convince me that this God would enjoy socialism like a parallel to St. Simonism for the modern age (or something like that).

God clearly would not enjoy communism. And that is apparent by the very message communism entails.

>There will be a famine so I need to store all the grain
>Without grain cattle will die! That will be horrible.I should also take care of it
>To prevent any future I will make the people of Egypt pay a tax to the pharaoph who will store the grain in case of famine
A random proddie in the XXI century
>Muh communism
>Literally Marx OMG
>Like Marx probably said something similar, like I haven't read him so whatever
>Muh debt is bad because I say so
>Modern finances are scam eventhough central banking has worked fine for 400 years

>any future famine

Sure thing Shlomo

Jesus was a jew

He wasn't a Talmud worshipping rabbinic Jew.

So if the Talmud and rabbies are the issue why do you believe that hebrew atheist are part of a massive conspiracy?

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that atheist Jews happen to be so supportive of communism. I'm just pointing out that helping to impose communism and enslaving a nation was definitely one of the sins Joseph committed. No OT prophet was perfect or sinless.

That's Elijah.

Well not all sins are major events that would have been spelled out in the Bible. Some of them are minor and can be committed thoughtlessly--dishonoring your parents, lusting after a married woman, shit like that. I think it's assumed that everyone commits minor everyday sins unless the Bible specifies otherwise

>dishonoring your parents
Joseph told everything to his father
> lusting after a married woman
He denied sex to Pothiphar's wife and remained always loyal to his wife.Joseph is literally flawless unlike all the other OT heroes, with the possible exception or Daniel

Both Enoch and Elijah did not die in the Bible.

Just because it isn’t documented doesn’t mean he didn’t sin. Seth isn’t shown sinning either.

He was dishonest in how he dealt with his brothers in Egypt. Putting stuff in their sacks and accusing them of stealing it, accusing them of being spies, etc. sure it was all for a specific cause that turned out good in the end, but it’s still a sin

Enoch’s end of his life on Earth isn’t in the Bible. He’s mentioned in a few genealogies and the book of Jude. In the book of Enoch, he’s whisked into Heaven though

He is documented as sinning by impoverishing and enslaving Egypt and helping the Pharaoh to buy all the land.

thank you, finally someone remembers how vindictive he was when his brothers came to visit Egypt

He put the money back so they could buy grain again as the famine was supposed to last 7 years. He also wanted to see his full brother who didn't go to buy grain.I don't see this as sinning at all
>25 “You have saved our lives,” they said. “May we find favor in the eyes of our lord; we will be in bondage to Pharaoh.”
Joseph was just preventing another famine to ever happening and the Egyptians thanked him.The Pharaophs abusing their power is another matter
