Which of the Horus Heresy novels are best?

First three. Anything involving Blood Angels. Anything involving Mars. Anything involving Alpha Legion. Some of the short story collections.

If you want something amazing from the Warhammer Fantasy setting, try Brunner by CL Werner.

Sandy Mitchell's Ciaphas Cain series is legitimately hilarious

>Abnets' Legion is nowhere to be found in this chart
>neither is ADB's first heretic
>word bearers in mediocre tier
Shit chart

>FANTASY
>Not necessarily in this order.
The Chronicles of Malus Darkblade
Brunner the Bounty Hunter
Gotrek & Felix
War of Vengeance
Empire Army
The Enemy Within
Blood for the Blood God
The Adventures of Florin & Lorenzo
Dwarfs
The Ambassador Chronicle
Blackhearts Omnibus
Ulrika the Vampire
Fell Cargo
Guardians of the Forest
Thunder and Steel
The Legend of Sigmar

I'm currently reading Gotrek & Felix and I'm having fun. The first book is shit tho.

>pariah
>acceptable
get the fuck out of here. that book was a fucking abortion compared with eisenhorn or ravenor

Just read all Abnett. Start with the Eisenhorn Trilogy. Then Ravenor. then Gaunt. Then Horus Heresy. Not only are they good, but you get nerd patrician status, because he wrote the Guardians of the Galaxy reboot that led to the movies after he wrote these books.

Yeah, I stopped at flight of the eisenstein. Pro-Tip, Moody Blues are the perfect sound for Horus Rising, particularly The Very Best of the Moody Blues. In Search of the Lost Chord is also acceptable.
