I'm a byzantine history phd fag, people always get triggered when I tell them he is hardly the "best emeperor".
He is a meme emperor though, only known due to memebuildings he funded or memes mentioned in procopius.
Anastasius was way better than him, or Heraclius who literally struggled against all odds from start to end with almost no break. While the meme emperor had a treasury full, an empire secure when he first came into power.
the bloody faggot never left Constantinople, compare that to Heraclius himself.
