Marx was neither the first nor the most intellectually complicated/advanced communist...

Marx was neither the first nor the most intellectually complicated/advanced communist. Why then do we equivocate Communism and Marxism? Why is there so little attention for the various non-Marxist forms of Communism?

Left wingers don't really pay attention to anything other than being cucked

Because they weren't (as) sucessful

This desu

Strains like anarchism and utopian socialism were never adopted as state ideologies of major powers (for obvious reasons.

Good contribution to the discussion.

You can actually report posters for this ya know. The mods do, once in a full moon, deal with posts like that.

he wrote the communist manifesto maybe

>Marx was neither nor the most intellectually complicated/advanced communist.

Actually yes he was.

Is it because utopian socialism is an impossible belief, and that anarchism and states are like oil and water?

Marx definitely is the foundation of communism vis-a-vis his economic/political economy writings and research. But he definitely isn't the most advanced. I'd say that a lot of the stuff that prominent Left Communist/council communist/situationist international/Luxembourg/others is far more advanced in the theories/praxes that they developed, where in many cases Marx was quite silent. They complement each other really well, and paint a way clearer picture of what "communism" entails.

Though of course it takes a lot of effort and reading before one gets to that point. That's probably why the reactionaries simplify things and go on the offensive; if they can stop regular people from looking beyond the communist manifesto, their job is done.

I would argue so, although obviously utopian socialists would disagree.

No he isn't you dumb nigger. Marx is just the figure lenin picked because he was the most violent in his writings, marx is nothing without lenin

>Marx is nothing without Lenin.
I hope you realize there were contemporary Marxist revolutionaries that weren't Lenin.

Are there even any utopian socialists left?

this might actually be the dumbest post I've read all week. please refrain from posting garbage, this board is already suffering enough.

Trotsky and those other cucks are always depicted after Lenin's portrait in party print outs, and communism is nothing without the Bolsheviks

How exactly were they cucks?

>weeb reaction images
>dumb nigger
>le cuck
>meme knowledge of Socialism
Just stop replying.

Idk, probably not very many, but there might be some utopian communis out there.

Marx was the last in a line of thinkers, Smith -> Ricardo -> Marx, that considered labour as the source of all value. It was called the labour theory of value. Since all value came from labour it was relatively easy in that doctrine to justify socialism - since capitalist were seen as exploiters, stealing the surplus value from the labourers etc.

You cannot really justify revolutionary action without Marxist theory

I take it back, THIS is the dumbest post I've read all week.
You realize that communism existed for at least 70 years before the Russian Revolution, right? Most of the important theoretical developments took place outside of the CPSU.

Oh please. Threads of nothing but interracial cuckold porn are more likely to expire than be deleted. Veeky Forums has the worst moderation of any social media function on the internet.
These fucking 16 alt right summer fags and mouthbreathing 30 year old NEETs actually think that they have a god given right to ruin online forums and deleting any post (other than SJW b8 amirite) is fascism (but not the good kind of fascism because it inconveniences them)

You never heard that joke lenin in poland?

In the early 1970's Brezhnev announces to the Politburo that he is making a state visit to Poland, and that in honor of the trip he wishes to bring the Polish people a momentous gift. It is decided that Brezhnev should bring a large painting entitled "Lenin In Poland."

Time is running short, and the Soviet leadership is growing desparate. Finally it is decided to approach Rabinowitz, a dissedent artist. "We know you have voiced many complaints against your country," a visiting KGB delegation tells him. "But if you perform this service for the motherland, we promise you a large apartment and a lot of work."

Rabinowitz agrees to make the painting of Lenin in Poland. Three weeks later, the day before the trip, Brezhnev leads a delegation of Politburo members into a conference room. There stands Rabinowitz in front of a large canvas covered by a drop-cloth. "Let us see the painting," Brezhnev orders.

Rabinowitz removes the drop-cloth, and everybody in the room gasps.. The painting shows a man in bed with a woman.

"Who is that man?" someone shouts at Rabinowitz.

"That's Trotsky."

Another gasp.

"And who is the woman?" another Politburo member yells out.

"Krupskaya, Lenin's wife."

"And where is Lenin?" Brezhnev thunders

"Lenin's in Poland."

Hence Bolsheviks= cuckolds

Smith's appropriation by the capitalists is quite interesting. They make him out to be some sort of granddaddy of capitalism, which is as if they haven't read him at all. Especially that shit about the invisible hand. In Western economics courses at the undergraduate level, one of the first things they say is "ugh yeah im gonna cum, markets hnng, invisible hand oh my god it'll fix everything", but Smith used the phrase twice overall, and only once in the Wealth of Nations, where he basically says the opposite of what the economics professors of today say that he meant. Shameful.

You're spot on. Especially that last line.

That was a little funny.

That's actually pretty funny. Is it actually true?

>Lenin developed an "emotional attachment" to his ideological heroes, such as Marx, Engels and Chernyshevsky; he owned portraits of them,[476] and privately described himself as being "in love" with Marx and Engels.[477] According to Lenin biographer James D. White, Lenin treated their writings as "holy writ", a "religious dogma" which should "not be questioned but believed in".[478] In Volkogonov's view, Lenin accepted Marxism as "absolute truth", and accordingly acted like "a religious fanatic".[479] Similarly, Bertrand Russell felt that Lenin exhibited "unwavering faith – religious faith in the Marxian gospel"

Lenin confirmed paul of MARXISM

Throughout his adult life, he was in a relationship with Krupskaya, a fellow Marxist whom he married. Lenin and Krupskaya were both sad that they never had children,[510] although they enjoyed entertaining their friends' offspring.[511]

Wife's son also confirmed

That's fair and also irrelevant. Whoever is still hung up on Lenin and the CPSU is outdated and impotent. "name-ist" communists are basically reactionaries in disguise, for the most part.

I MEAN IT'S THE CURRENT YEAR, COME ON.

Sorry, I had to. But seriously, fuck em. We need to revise our attitudes and positions and bring in fresh theorization. We need to look forward instead of looking backward. This doesn't mean that we should abandon the past, we just need to take the bits that are still relevant, rework them, and move foward.

She is the cutest.
