Powering this pocket rocket is a 2.5L 5 cylinder engine that delivers 400 hp.
>That gets this car from 0-60 in just 3.7s (roadster - 3.9s).
>354.0 lb-ft from that AWD Quattro system.

Opinions on the performance and looks?
Opinions on the interior?
>those retarded ac vents
>electronic handbrake
>auto
>Audi
>shitty Haldex "Quattro AWD"
>because anyone cares about AC vents
>electric parking brake is kinda dumb
>it's a dual-clutch sequential gearbox, you tard, not a slush-box.
I had an 11 TT Roadster. After 3 years I traded it. It was comfy enough and all that, but.... eh. Yawn.
I hated the DCT + turbo lag. It seems half the time I could never get the amount of acceleration I actually dialed in - sometimes more, sometimes less. When floored it really took off, but just wasn't engaging the rest of the time.
I also got really sick of sitting in the bathtub, peering over the edge.
We had an older ttrs on our lot at work for a few days from a trade in. I got to drive it on gas runs and test drives after the service dept checked it out. Car was a Fucking blast and I miss it. So I'm excited that they're continuing the 5cyl engine. I'm bummed it's no longer part of the 3b family though.
dumb carlposter
>looks good
>great engine
>great interior
but you just know it will ride like a concrete block and handle like a pudding
back is a bit meh
the interior is amazing
The Audi TT is built on the VW Golf platform. You effectively get the engine from the GTI, the AWD system from the Golf R, and a $10K Audi badge.
They do ride nice. I never had a rattle or buzz in mine, and it had comfy seats. 70% of the body was aluminum too. The new ones even more. Audi interiors are really nice as well, if you're into that whole "locked in Berlin post office" thing.
It's just not a sports car, even if it has two seats and a convertible top. It's a tourer.
At least the RS gets the turbo i5 from the RS3.
Schwarze Sonne Wheels - subtle Fritz, subtle.
The engine is cool, but the rest is just eh. Call me when someone drops the power plant into a nice MR chassis
The recipe looks good for a car like this. 400hp is cool.
For the top of the line trim, it seems a little underpowered. If expect 50 more HP/TQ for the amount they charge for it. I'm not personally a fan of the exterior looks.
It looks nice and seems powerful. But it's a VAG with a shitty FSI engine (or is it FSI?) and it's equipped with the worst AWD system, which disqualifies it. Also, badge.
But damn, I'd love to hear that 5 banger's sound.
auto is auto
At least there's 1 turbo 5banger out there still. I imagine it's impossible to get it in a car with a clutch petal though.
>You effectively get the engine from the GTI
>400hp
>GTI
Not quite. It's basically an alloy bodied golf coupe
The previous TTRS rode and handled very well. No reason why this one should be any different.
GTI is a 2.0T 4 pot. This is a 2.5T 5 cyl.
Which of these other cars that you listed can hit 60 in 3.7 seconds?
