>beer is good
>liquor is bad
wash your mouth out
>beer is good

>Absolutely jack hammered
>Can't gauge anything
>buddy and me returning from the club at 4 AM
>long straight road, no one is alive
>hit the gas pedal like it owes me money
>get up to 150km/h in fucking city zone
>pass the police car with the speed of fucking light
>the moment I pass them they turn on their car and start parking out
>ohshitohshitohshit
>they go the other way
I don't know what kind of luck do you have to have for that kind of HAPPENING
I've driven drunk probably at least 20 times
I've driven pretty fucked up 3 times
Never pulled over or hit anyone
I don't dare do that anymore tho. That was like 16-22 years old for me. I'm 26 now and never drink and drive
>guy at car meets I'm kinda friends with
>always comes to the car meet after being at a party of some sort
>brings and drinks beer at the car meet
>always says he's not that drunk even after we've seen him drink 3+ beers
>so tempted to anonymously report him for DUI every time this happens (usually every Friday night)
>constantly brags about how fast he likes to drive
What should I do guys? I feel like it's not really my place to say anything, but I also feel like him doing something terrible is inevitable.
beer IS gross, though. like, what's even the point? i'd rather have a pint of liquor and a tea or coke or something to go with it. way less drinking to get way more drunk.
Romania
that only applies if you get into an accident
if they do a random check and find alcohol levels of above 0.15mg/l of exhaled air, you only get your license suspended for 6 months and a fine between 21-50 times the minimum monthly wage.
On a random check, anything above 0.5mg/l is considered a criminal offense and will land you a jail sentence between 1 to 5 years - depending on how drunk you are.
In Romania there's such a thing as "suspended" jail time. As in, you get it put on your criminal record that you got a 2-year prison sentence, but you don't actually serve prison time. But in those 2 years if you get any other criminal offense on your record, you will have to serve the remainder of those 2 years + whatever the other sentence is.
I am OK with this.

Err, you get a suspended sentence if your "crime" wasn't anything serious. So for drunk driving, you get a suspended sentence if you didn't cause any serious accidents or hurt anyone in any way.
There's Drunk Driving and then there's "drunk" driving. Everyone around here "drunk" drives. ie: driving after a few beers over a few hours.
and I can't recall a single time anyone I know had an issue driving.
If you drink terrible tasting poor quality beers, yes.
Here in America, we've got some of the world's best small breweries and the worlds WORST macrobrews.
