The whole point was it had a capable chassis with adequate power to be fun. Contrary to Veeky Forums 's popular belief you don't need to go supersanic and have Saturn V levels of power to have fun and enjoy your car.
Only thing that is a letdown with the toyubaru is lack of engine character. Which is interesting because it puts out 100hp/ liter. It's not a bad motor.
