the direct injection has everything to do with the fact that it makes no power, because instead of just asking subaru for an engine and dropping the wrx fa or the one found in the legacy, they decided to implement their retarded direct and port injection system

its pretty easy to see toyota fucked up by trying to use the gt86 as a test for their direct and port injection system
200 hp out of a 2.0 isn't even bad. the only problem with the engine is the torque dip, fixable with a header and tune. I don't understand why you think the D4S is the problem when a header and tune fixes it.
