I still need more games in her, but she's very finicky. I feel like her damage output is a bit lacking. Scharn can mitigate her weaknesses by getting up close, but Dunk really can't.

The ship is agile enough to juke BB shots if you're aware enough, but what is killing me is how fragile she is to cruiser guns and how flammable she is. She has a lot of superstructure and a lot of deck space. HE will hit and do damage almost all the time, AP salvoes will do 4-digit damage. Tier 8 games will see you being eaten up by Hippers and Atagos.

I am using rudder shift time, as I do in all my BBs and CAs.

I don't have an Atago, so I can't compare. But her rudder shift is like Scharn's, and her turning radius is better than Scharn's. The numbers don't really compare to cruiser numbers, but the combination of speed, fast (for BB) rudder, and decent turning radius makes her feel pretty easy to handle.

You can't play her like a cruiser, though. Her guns are surprisingly punchy at times, and she doesn't have the ROF to really allow for for cruiser (or uptiered Scharn)-like play.

Haven't quite figured out how to use her yet, quite honestly.

Normally the WG wiki is utter shite and is missing half the stats desu. I do not waste my time on it.

With EM, Aim Systems Mod 1, and the rudder shift time mod.

Her guns are remarkably punchy. It was a nice surprise.

Would you say you have to be an above average player to be good in her?

Cit hit an angled NM, not bad must have some good AP pen then.

She's got weak armor, but she's zippy, decently accurate, and has a good punch. I'd say she's not idiot proof, but if you're a remotely decent player you should have a good time with her.

Her armor isn't so awful that something can simply look at you and you burst into treats, but certainly if you show too much side like some French whore, she's gonna have a bad time. As long as you stay properly angled against incoming fire, which should be easy since your entire main battery is forward, she's plenty enough durable. Still, you dont want to just point you bow at the enemy and creep towards them. She's not that durable. It's better to stay mobile like a cruiser in that regard.

Dispersion looks quite big and are you just ment to go forward since trying to WSAD while running away is kinda hard since you have to angle quite hard to shoot back.

What would you consider the quintessential ship for each Nation?
Not nesesairaly the best ship in the tree, but the one that captures the spirit of it more than any other

Nip: Yamato. Big guns, big range, big damage

Clap: Cleveland or Baltimore. High gun arcs, decent HE and AAA stacked on AAA

KM: hard to say because the CAs and the BBs are so different but I would have to say the Hipper with its fantastic AP, which remains on both the CAs and BBs

Bong: Warspite. I don't say that because it's basically the only original ship in the RN, but because I believe that it will be a template for the RN. Great maneuverability and decent, accurate guns
