For the rest of time, no dictator will ever rise in Germany and Germans will hate oppression.

Muh unemployed building die autobahnen

thanks to Hitler Germany is again Catholic majority

Bayern > Prussia

also best parts of Germania(Bavaria, Austria) are the ones that were under Rome, coincidence?

He razed it.

Autobahn, VW, accidentally turned it into a parliamentary republic.

I think the first national smoking ban was done by nazi germany on public buses, etc of which he was a strong advocate for.....but that's all I can think of. If he was born at any other time in history he would have been a nobody

Also created one of the first bills which forced the ethical treatment of animals in Germany.

was it the Germans or the Soviets that trained dogs to run under enemy tanks with explosives tied to their backs?

I am thinking it was Russia, but I also think Germany would have done desperate things late in the war

made germany opposed to fascism

That's Soviets. It didn't work because dogs ran to friendly tanks.

Planted a tree

Banned Fraktur.

broke it for 50 years.
He did his best.

He shot himself.

Edgy

destroyed it

He failed at the only thing he could offer the world, completely wiping out Germany.

Germany still exists and is allowed to have an army. It's unacceptable.

Pure idealism

If dogs are dying, it's probably Russia.

That was the Soviets. I am not sure how effective it was, but it certainly sounds desperate.

Germans desperation plans was drafting old men and children. It was obviously pretty bad at that point, and of course it didn't help a lot. I am not very sure, but I think that those "troops" where mostly used againist the Soviets rather than againist the Allies, since the Germans would prefer to lose Berlin to the Allies rather than the Soviets.

Laws for prevention of cruelty to animals.

Gave pride and a cause to the German people, should have been killed after that though.

Prevent the gommies from taking over

>Prevent the gommies from taking over
And he failed miserably

He killed off the last remnants of the greatest German generation.

He got rid of foreign elements in the Volkskörper.

AUTOBAHN

This is grand.

Dog: oh look a tank
Blows up t-34
Soviet: We have made a huge mistake.

killed the jews

This is why I fucking hate Hitler, I don't understand why leftists call him a CONSERVATIVE when he was anything but.

>banned fraktur because muh backwards
>hated reactionaries
>didn't want the monarchy back
>wanted to create a "new society" and a "new man"

He has more in common with the cultural leftists than with the conservatives.

>cultural leftists
>supported by conservatives, aristocracy, big business, the army, nationalists and the entire volkish movement
>goals: lebensraum (imperialism), destruction of marxism, Jews, and the democratic Weimar Republic

They weren't supported by aristocracy, if anything aristocracy either flat out opposed them or begrudgingly accepted them. The Hitler assassination attempt was even conducted by aristocrats for fuck's sake.

>the army isn't representative of the people in a conscript society

lul

Reminder that the economic miracle is a myth

>Germany is again Catholic majority

Hitler was FORCED to accept the supremacy of the conservatives for a time, before that the nazis flat out wanted to create a socialist state and replace the army with SA thugs. That's why night of the long knives had to happen.

>hitler wuz left wing cuz his party was called the national SOCIALIST party. All lefties and commies are litterly hitler

Literally 5 seconds of looking it up on wikipedia you cuck.

See

>Germany is again Catholic majority

Germany has Catholic majority because the traditionally protestant areas like Eastern Prussia got annexed by other countries and Eastern Germany is now majority atheist thanks to communism.

Also Hitler was a Catholic himself.

>Roman Catholics are the largest religious group

Good job proving him right

That's not what "majority" means.

>Germany is again Catholic majority

>Roman Catholics in Germany: 29.5%

>majority
>29.5%

>largest group
>therefore it must be majority

>The Hitler assassination attempt was even conducted by aristocrats for fuck's sake
But that was much later. Land owners, some nobles and the army were indirectly responsible for the rise of nationalism in Germany. Most of them were against the republic and wanted to destroy it. They obviously thought they could control Hitler.

Also:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_August_Wilhelm_of_Prussia

> nobles and the army were indirectly responsible for the rise of nationalism in Germany
>nationalism = nazism

Simply eric

>Most of them were against the republic and wanted to destroy it

Yeah, and recreate the MONARCHY, something Hitler was very much against and told the kaiser to fuck off when he brought it up.

>forced the ethical treatment of animals in Germany.
>treats humans worse than animals
Hitler was literally PETA before PETA

Nazi Germany never stopped being a republic, you know. They weren't democratic, but they were still a republic, much like the USSR.

>nationalism
>not the most important part of Nazi ideology

Hitler was against it because he thought he will be a better ruler than him.

not religious is not a religion, you are still correct about it not being majority though

All nazis are nationalists, but not all nationalists are nazis.

>Nationalism is a monolith

Check out this goober

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dietrich_von_Saucken#Character_traits

>A cavalry officer who regularly wore both a sword and a monocle, Saucken personified the archetypal aristocratic Prussian conservative who despised the braune Bande ("brown mob") of Nazis. When he was ordered to take command of the Second Army on 12 March 1945, he came to Hitler's headquarters with his left hand resting casually on his cavalry sabre, his monocle in his eye, . . . [and then] saluted and gave a slight bow. This was three 'outrages' at once. He had not given the Nazi salute with raised arm and the words 'Heil Hitler', as had been regulation since 20 July 1944, he had not surrendered his weapon on entering....and had kept his monocle in his eye when saluting Hitler.
This is how the Junkers viewed nazis, with utter contempt. Hitler was a plebeian with no aristocratic background and people like von Hindenburg looked down on him for it which enraged him to no end.

How was Nazi Germany a republic?

killed hitler

What do you think it was if not a republic?

I don't disagree with you. They still supported him and his party.

They didn't support him, they begrudgingly accepted him.

A totalitarian dictatorship. There weren't any real elections in the Third Reich.

USSR was also a totalitarian dictatorship and it was still a republic. Those two are not mutually exclusive.

Republic =/= democracy

IIRC some dogs also returned to their masters and blew them up, literally like in those cartoons where a dog retrieves a thrown stick of dynamite.

And some of them gave him money and helped him pass the Enabling Act.

Anti smoking and animal rights were a plus... I guess.

A republic (from Latin: res publica) is a sovereign state or country[1] which is organized with a form of government in which power resides in elected individuals representing the citizen body[2][3] and government leaders exercise power according to the rule of law.
It's kinda like calling Roman Empire a republic.

Roman Empire wasn't a republic, it was a monarchy. It's right in the name.

>SPQR
>This signature continued in use under the Roman Empire. The emperors were considered the representatives of the people.

Are you fucking joking?

Painted a decent painting

EASY! He saved Germany's economy.

...

I can name 6 million good things he did for Germany :^)

...

MEMES

Good thing, we said, Stalin.

f.e. Adolf and the nazis founded the olympic tradition of ...

... torch relay of the olympic flame
... the release of "peace doves" (25.000 pigeons) at the opening
... basketball for the first time as an official olympic sport
... baseball as a demonstration sport at the games
... first broadcast of the games via radio and tv

... olympic salute or roman salute (like nazi salute or old bellamy salute) - not in use anymore

btw the Autobahn wasn´t an invention of Uncle A., because the first road of this kind was already completed in 1932.

but f.e. the german hunting laws together with 29 other laws are still in use in the Federal Republic of Germany today, like the income splitting, the use of preventive detention in crime, the definition of muderer (§ 211 - no joke!), the milage allowance for workers, the Non-Medical Practitioners Act (as parts of it for the former use against jewish docs), a kind of a camping-law (initially used against gypsies), laws for the protection of animals, laws against renegade soldiers (in use until 2009) ... and in the former US-occupation zone in Bavaria there are much more regulations still legal, which were enacted between 1933-45

... maybe it´s good or bad, but these (nazi) things are still in use TODAY, funny isn´t it?

He almost put it out of its misery.

Prussia was the best thing that ever happened to Germany. Bavarians are drunk all the time and never work. You would almost think they are Spaniards, Italians or Greeks.

Say what you like about Hitler being a massive faggot, a failure, a loser, and the man who singlehandedly destroyed Germany, but he sure killed a lot of Jews.

so who would Veeky Forums have preferred to see rise to power from weimarer republic?
